I think Supermax Avoidance might become a thing. If a mediocre/good team is giving such a big % to one guy, will be very tough to improve around him, especially if team around is young and developing into big extensions of their own…you really have to look at your guy and say “how far does he take us?”

Dallas just did this.

Someone had to be the first. I agree, it will become more common.

Luka is a top 3 player. You give him the super max.

This front office isn't going to make a big move like that. It'll just be a minor signing or two, draft two guys with those picks that won't be in the rotation most likely. Between those two guys though I would take booker all the way and would trade suggs for him

I absolutely would. But they didn’t …

Teams 100% will still give out super max deals but I don’t think it will be so automatic anymore.

Maybe overall, but for MVP level players you always should. Having an MVP level player has to be like the #1 correlator to championship success in the NBA. Only a handful of those guys in the league.

I think wepark might go hard after booker this summer before giving the supermax to Paolo

We have the assets to do so.

4 FRP + Black+ Jett+ kcp + Harris (exp) should be more than enough to get booker

This would put us over the 2nd apron but we d still have many FRP to improve our team and our team would be set for yrs

Suggs, Frp
Booker, Cole, TQ
Franz, TDS
Paolo,j'ai,moe
Goga,wcj, Moe
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,
P5, JI, Panda
Wcj, Goga, Moe

Neither. We don’t need a third max player.
