Knightro, how’s the little one doing? How’s the family?

He's getting better. Still in the NICU (today is day 5), but he's progressing positively.

He's off the CPAP machine and onto a regular tube in the nose. He's also off the feeding tube and taking bottle feeds again.

Not all the way there, but we're optimistic he can be sent home in a few days.

I can’t imagine the stress that you guys were dealing with. Happy to know he’s coming along. I’ll continue to pray for the family and all who is taking care of him.

The days seem like forever before you get out. Ups and downs. Glad you’re on the other side of things.

Moments like these really bring what’s important in life.

Not really a big prayers kind of guy, so not asking for them or anything like that, but just make sure if you have young kids to be extra careful and use preventative measures as best you can because this is absolutely serious business.

Really saddening, I've been hearing about this happening at so many hospitals recently. Ridiculous how hospitals arent taking proper preventive measures (proper ventilation, masking, etc). Especially in the face of the pandemic that still hasnt ended

I'll pray for your kid.

To be fair, I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about the facility my son is at. They've been very professional with their care and their bedside manner.

My newborn almost assuredly caught this at home from his two-year-old brother who was sick last week.

They officially took my boy off oxygen tonight. Assuming there's no setbacks, he may be cleared to go home tomorrow night.

Thanks for keeping him and my family in mind. I appreciate it.

Great news!!! Wishing for the OK to go home tomorrow.

It’s such a relief when your child no longer needs oxygen support. It’s always been a big sigh of relief for me.

Final update.

We’re home!

Little guy was a trooper. Took one full week in the NICU, but we’re back.

Finally! Dial down the stress a little but don't lower your attentiveness until the lil tyke is 100% back.
