The Sixers are in bad shape.

They owe their pick to OKC unless it lands in the top 4
Paul George has been bad and is in year one of his 4 year $211m contract.
Embiid likely needs another surgery, he's about to turn 31 years old.

The Sixers have both George & Embiid available and they still lose to the Bucks without Giannis.

We are begging them to overtake us in the play-in but they are deplorable.

For as much slack as Zach got for his contract, that Paul George contract is way worse. He's being paid 49m this season to average 17ppg shooting 43% from the floor. The Clippers were right to not give him to contract he wanted.

The Sixers are going to be stuck with that contract until it expires. Horrendous.

Maxey is carrying that team.

Their pick is protected 1-6 this year and 1-4 next year.

At this point they should just tank the season and hope for the best. But as a Bulls fan I'd rather they continue to win as much as they can.

A top pick in 2025 can turn things around for their future.

Morey is crazy overrated.

He should have traded Embiid and built around Maxey PG is donezo.

He did a good job dealing with the Simmons saga and got decent assets for Harden (even though I know there are issues with how that was handled).

As for Embiid I don't think Philly was willing to trade him last year. Now...his value isn't it's best so I'm not sure what they could get for him...?

PG...the thinking was they were getting an all-star for free (meaning not giving up assets) and had no idea that he'd drop off as much as he did.

At this point I think they should tank and hope for the best in the draft.

It's so easy to waste money on an old HOFer. PG, Kawhi, Harden, Beal, Dame. Durant is close to being there. Good chance Joel, AD, and Butler won't play enough games to be worth the money.

Yeah I know Beal might not make the Hall but the point remains.

I’m not surprised one bit. I looked at Williams’s career thus far, and he has played less than Anthony Davis’s least available season.

Starting this offseason Lavine's contract will be pretty swallowable. 2 years just isn't long enough to be up in arms about, and several other guys have lapped him as overpaid semi-worthy max contracts.

Beal is both paid more and way worse than Lavine currently. Murray's getting paid 57 million in 28-29, which is just brutal. Paul George kinda sucks, as you noted.

You also have the guys who are clearly better, but who's injury status makes them unplannable as far as roster concerns go. Kawhi, Embiid, etc. Simmons was in this category before he got let go. Zion Williamson is the new Lonzo Ball.

The Bucks had to attach picks to trade Khris Middleton for Kyle Kuzma(!).

He'll never command a good return on his current contract, but at this point, you could do a lot worse.

Eh, they haven't practiced and more importantly THEY DON'T HAVE A POINT GUARD!

I have no clue why Tre Jones didn't end up there in the trade. jfc we have 8 point guards on this team, how in the hell didn't one of them go to Sac for some draft compensation?

Sacramento blew it, Bulls blew it, Spurs nailed it.

The more I think about it getting the 2025 pick isn't all that exciting either. The Bulls could've tanked and kept it this year, but they won't. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being another 11th pick or even higher.

Good to have, but not aiming high enough IMO. I know....they'd still owe the Spurs next year if it didn't convey, but I wish they did something that gave them better odds in the lottery. Maybe something like the best out of the Bulls/Hawks pick. Or even a future Hawks pick.

I wonder if that opens the door to a Connelly exit? It was sort of implied a while ago that would be the case.

Ayo? He was never expected to be high usage, high scoring guard in league.. you guys have some crazy unrealistic expectations for some players..

Ayo is good two way guard, can occasionaly even switch to SF in small ball. He isnt expected to be more than 13-15 PPG/4-5 APG/4-5 RBD player I think.. and thats good for me!

He needs to lose more of that extra weight.. 2 more weeks and he should be back to lets say normal lol.
Under LeBron's wings I think things will be more strict, well they can hope, Luka gets more serious on conditioning and being fit, eat more healthy, dont drink too much beer, being late up at night, playing cards etc
