The team needs to build the bench somehow. The starting 5 just needs to hit their shots. The BOS loss exposed what may keep us from advancing to the finals. We got nothing from the bench and the starters couldn't hit the floor if they fell out of bed to start that game. Meanwhile, BOS had Pritchard go off on us and we had no answer. We also need to stay healthy. OG/Mitch are needed to compete with teams like Boston for sure.

30 games left after a nice break should help us see exactly what we need when everyone is back and healthy. The season isn't over yet.

Defense wins championships. Look at the Eagles.

This KAT-Brunson-Hart experience is doomed to fail. Send Hart to the bench and send KAT out in a trade for a 2-way guy. You can hide one guy on defense but you can't hide 2-3.

Knicks are pretenders until Mitch hopefully comes back and stays healthy than maybe we have a chance if not we are 2nd round exits.

I'm so disappointed in Bridges we need to trade him for Gianis or Durant to offset the blow of trading 5 1st round picks for him seriously.

You forgot to add Mikal Bridges to that list. We should trade him and his zesty pre-game warm up dances and handshakes.

I rather have DiVincenzo and our picks still than him.

What we need is a healthy rim protecting center, KAT isn't it at center full time.

You see why Minnesota moved him to PF and brought in Rudy.

I think we're doomed unless we get a new coach who is willing to play and develop the bench players. We've put all our eggs in one basket with the starting lineup, and we're strapped due to the cap. We gave up too much for Bridges for him to be as inconsistent as he is, and OG is overpaid in my opinion. A player like OG, with his injury history, is doomed under a coach like Thibs.

Guys like Kolek, Hukporti, and Dadiet are going to make mistakes, but they need real NBA minutes to improve. My fear is that this starting lineup is going to be burned out going into the playoffs. If we can't sub in bench players with in-game experience to give them a few minutes of rest while also contributing to the score, we're in trouble.

Mitch isn't Rudy even when he's healthy and he's never healthy.

Knicks went all in to be Sh*tty Minny.

Great.

I genuinely wonder what the excuse will be when the Celtics rain threes on us in the playoffs with Mitch on the court. They averaged 17 threes a game last year when we had Ihart and Mitch.

They will blame the players if we lose. They will credit the coach if we win. I'm done engaging in the Thibs wars. I think the team needs better depth no matter who the HC is. Hopefully whoever the HC is, they play more than 8 guys all season.

In the summer will we be any better positioned to get a guy like DeAndre Hunter? That's a big upgrade for Cavs. Not a scrub but an athletic 6'8 guy who is a two way player. Who can fill in for OG Mikal and Hart in the wing rotation and not be a size liability like Shamet. I guess the question is always, who do you give up.

We're going to need to get guys on vet minimums, its why developing young players is so important for apron teams because they're the last players you have that could outplay their salary.

We'll have around $17 million to move between Mitch and Deuce, add in Pacome or Kolek and we can get up to $18-21 million but that leaves us with even less depth.

Who would be this 2 way all-star big you want? AD and his body made of glass? Myles Turner, who can not be consistent?

It would be tough to get Giannis or Bam for KAT.

Mikal's trade value must be very low now. So so performance, flight risk, and asking for a big contract.

Every contending team is putting all the eggs in 4/7 players. Nobody can pay more than 9M to more than 7 players. It's tough to get good players for less. Most are high-performance rookies (who will get paid eventually) or ring chasers.

Celtics: Tatum, Brown, Jrue, White, KP, Horford. Plus Prichard and Kornet for cheap.
Cavs: Garland, Donovan, Mobley (R), Allen, Hunter, Strus and Okoro. Plus Jerome for cheap.
Knicks: Brunson, Hart, Mikal, OG, KAT and Mitch. Plus Deuce and Precious for cheap.
Bucks: Giannis, Lillard, Lopez, Kuzma, Portis and Pat. Plus Trent, KPJ, AJJr, and Prince (R) for cheap.
Denver: Jokic, Jamal, Gordon, and MPJ. Plus WB, Brown(R), and Watson (R) for cheap.
Suns: Durant, Booker, Beal, Grayson and Royce. Plus Dunn (R), Tyus, Caleb, and Richards for cheap.
OKC: Shai, IHart, Chet (R), Dort, Joe, A.Wiggins and Caruso. Plus JWill (R) and Wallace (R) for cheap.
Rockets: Fred, Brooks, Jabari (R), Green (R) Amen (R), Sheppard (R), and Adams. Plus Sengun (R) and Eason (R) for cheap.
Memphis: Ja, JJJ, Bane, Kennard, and Clarke. Plus Edey (R), Aldama (R), Wells (R), GG (R) and Pippen for cheap.
Lakers: Doncic, LeBron, Reaves, Rui, Vander, Gabe and Dorian. Plus Knetch (R) and Hayes for cheap.

It's very hard to trade him now. We will not recover the picks. His stats are not very good. His contract is ending and he will ask for a big contract.
