He shot the ball really well in the third quarter.

But he’s genuinely very bad on the glass and defensively and it’s very noticeable at this point.

This is injury related surely, defensive effort (and rebounding) require you to be fully comfortable in your body. Easy to hoist even when not 100%.

Let's be patient rather than direct our anger that way, there are many more facets of this ball club that need addressing.

Or screw it, lets package him with a couple of firsts for Tristian Thompson.

They allowed like 6 baskets after a made shot and kept leaving Mann and LeVert open too.

Horrible unforced turnovers also.

It’s so obvious how unqualified the staff is top to bottom.

90% of the time it looks like they run nothing on that side of the floor.

Whenever Paolo or Franz hit a shot or two they immediately come down and jack up some absolute terrible heat check.

Mosely just lets them do whatever.

You always say this and then never say what they should run.

Say it. What they should run.

Paolo is -19. Pope is -8.

People look at the points and think he had a great night. The team was at its worst when he was on the floor. Doesn’t defend worth a **** and doesn’t rebound. Say what you will about +/- and its value as a stat, but Paolo is consistently among the worst. And to be -19 on a night when he scored 30+ is bewildering. The guy is not an asset. Either he’s just tanking and doesn’t want to try defensively, or he’s just not going to be the superstar we envisioned.

If he’s playing hurt, he should not be playing. Not worth risking it for this group, which is full of bad players, going nowhere in a big damn hurry.

Suggs will revitalize the team, no doubt. But the offense needs to sharpen up regardless

That was a deflating end, even the crowd was meh and uninvolved. Too much hero ball by Paolo and Franz, everything is just soo difficult when hero balls happens. No movement, ball watching, trying to go one on 2 is not viable with no guard play. Ultimately though the lack of urgency to get back on defense after made baskets, strutting and celebrating while Atl is running back the other end and getting easy layups off pure hustle is the main culprit. Just lack of awareness, something this team is terrible at. One play JI has the ball in a bad spot with shot clock down and no one reacts to make themselves a target for a pass as he frantically looks to make a pass, leads to a turnover. Awareness, reaction, execution, all lacking. Trae has a an awful game for the most part and they still win, that can’t happen if you are a serious about being a real team.

We’re a good team when the core is healthy (not great but good). The FO hasn’t done their job to surround them with better talent though. I’m jealous of what Cleveland has built.

Very costly and disappointing loss. Just needed a third player tonight to play NBA level basketball. I guess that's too much to ask.

Gary Harris is honestly pathetic.

Trae Young turned it over 9 times and we lost at home.

My frustration is really beginning to mount.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I don’t think so though.

The injury thing can explain away some of the offensive struggles I’d say, but Paolo’s always been a pretty indifferent rebounder and defender.

It’s just magnified more recently because the offense (not tonight so much) has been quite bad as well for the last few weeks.

The Magic efed around and found out. Made baskets they were too busy celebrating meanwhile Atl has a layup on the other end while our guys are strutting around…are these guys going to be serious about winning?

The players look like they have given up.
Or maybe they know that the FO wont change anything so there is no sense of urgency anymore, i dont know, too much carrot and not enough stick maybe.

We’re slotted for the 11th pick in the lotto right now. Let that sink in.

Gary has another game with 0 points. Why can’t we buy him out and give someone else a chance?

We've lost our identity. We've been horrendous offensively all year, but the defense was there, and there was a level of toughness and togetherness. I don't know what their problem is, but until they get back to that, they're going to lose. Tonight was actually a good shooting night by our standards and we still lost. No pride in the defense or hustle. Just let them beat us.

I agree. He will make us better, no doubt. I just don't see how Suggs is gonna solve our problems.
