Flagg is both BPA and fits a positional need. Our frontcourt is razor thin.

Even with Ingram, Flagg can play SF and Ingram SG if need be. You also have your SG/SF/PF that can all play point on offense. I imagine you could also stagger them between the first 6 and last 6 minutes so that you have a more natural #2 like Gradey or RJ on the court at all times with 2 of the other 3. You also could have tons of flexibility by playing a point with them or even a 3+D wing.

VJ was initially compared to Oladipo due to size. Is that still a good comp or does someone have thoughts?

vj is a podz/anunoby hybrid in the body of a track athlete

personally i think everything points to him being a winning role player in the nba

he's a more rare archetype in a rare body but i don't really see the risk because everything he's good at drives winning and going in with the expectation that he's a role player he doesn't need a yoyo handle and can improve his layup %, dribble j and def closeouts over time. he's different from derrick white and has a ways to go as a halfcourt off performer but his overall impact could be similar down the road.

I came here to say that I believe in Danny Wolf. Not many humans 7ft could move like him, ever.

If we could leave this draft with Flemming + 7ft C, I think I'd trade anyone not named Cooper with our pick.

Ainge forcing his way into Cooper Flagg that *** I'm trying to see which team the league would want to gift and it's gonna be either Portland or Utah or even nets since that time with KD harden issue.

Neither move me. Maluach looks like he’ll top out as a rim runner who hits the occasional 3, and Queen looks like a ground based Power Forward type who will be 21 by the new year . It’s not old, but he’s an older freshman.

If we’re looking for a big I’m looking at Wolf and Broome, both of whom I could get much later.

Dq is someone I can see jumping up draft boards if he comes to the combine down a few lbs and measures well. He has very good post skills underrated passer and has a nice shooting stroke. He looks like a high IQ player on the court. Lots of guys are sleeping on him because they think he fits into a particular archetype. If he looked like Maluch and possessed the same skills ppl on this board would be mocking him top 5.

Portland pick? pretty blank slate, with some nice tools. Send him to the G-League for a couple of seasons because if both he and Chomche hit we’re laughing.

If VJ measures out closer to 6'5, might have to take him over Bailey.

VJ versus Ace might turn out to be like Bosh versus Wade long term. You got the #1 in Flagg (LeBron), the #2 in Harper (Melo), then you have the next two stars in Bailey (Bosh) and VJ (Wade)

And yes I know Darko went second.
