I watched the Boston-heat game and Joe Mazzulla played Tatum and the starters up by 20+ since the end of third quarter all the way until 2 mins left in the game. Do what you will with that information.

They also for the majority of the season play a 9 man rotation fully healthy or not #justthibs

Is it True Dirk went to the Luka opening game for the Lakers? If true it has to be the Nadir of the Mavs franchise and couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team. :lol:

Luka bashing is insane. Mavs never really built an appropriate team around him. PJ, Gafford, Lively was a good start (and they reached the finals) but Kyrie? You can't have two cones defensively in your backcourt.

Luka is not fatter or worse defensively than Jokic was at the time in 2021 when we had the same exact conversation. He doesn't have the endurance and the defensive anticipation that allows Nikola to make so many steals and deflections (4th in both) but his team did not cover him at all.

I mean they have to beat OKC and the Nuggets and then the Celtics, one assumes.

They are so deep I could see beating the Nuggets and the Celtics. OKC looks a step too far. Idk. They are suddenly much closer than one would have thought.

Vincent, DFS, and Vanderbuilt are playing like championship level role players

Goodwin is overlooked

Knecht is back

They have a legit squad

They're better than the team they had two years ago that made the WCF
