Re: Build a Franchise (Season 8) Discussion Thread
It was a Boston Massacre as the Toronto Raptors destroyed the Boston Celtics for a 139-105 road win at the TD Garden. It was a game in which they never trailed and led by as many as 46 points.
Eight Raptors scored in double-figures, with a whopping eleven players scoring 8+ points. Led by the usual suspects — Victor Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert — the tone was established early, with Toronto jumping out to a 46-20 lead by the close of the 1st quarter and never looking back.
A suffocating Raptors defense didn’t allow a single fast break point all night. Boston faired no better from beyond the three point line, shooting a dismal 28.6% behind the arc.
Toronto’s record improves to 42-10, holding firm on their Atlantic Division lead and maintaining the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors are winners of 14 straight games overall (and 18 out of their last 19). Having taken the first game of a back-to-back, the Raptors head north, home to host the New York Knicks tomorrow, where they are a league-best undefeated 25-0.

Re: Build a Franchise (Season 8) Discussion Thread
The Toronto Raptors obliterated the New York Knicks for a 135-103 home win at Scotiabank Arena. It was a game in which they led by as many as 37 points.
Seven Raptors scored in double-figures, with eight players scoring 9 points or more. Led by Michael Porter Jr. erupting offensively, and the Victor Wembanyama & Rudy Gobert duo each collecting a double-double. Once again, the tone was established early, with Toronto jumping out to a 42-18 lead by the close of the 1st quarter and never looking back.
The Raptors didn’t allow a single second-chance point all night, while getting 20 of their own, totally controlling the boards by a 58-27 margin (+31 on the glass).
Toronto’s record improves to 43-10, holding firm on their Atlantic Division lead and maintaining the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors are winners of 15 straight games overall (and 19 out of their last 20) sweeping their latest back-to-back. While continuing their utter dominance at home with a league best undefeated 26-0 record in Ontario, Canada.

Usually let my kid set my rotation once a year. Thought your tanking Jazz would’ve been a good opportunity.
