So, the second highest scoring team in the NFL was the Buffalo Bills. (1st Lions)

The Bills have a better offense than Philly, and the Chiefs beat the Bills right before playing Philly. The defense gave up 29 points which granted isn't a great a defensive showing but it was a much better showing than 40 against the Eagles.

They lost 2 games all season, and one was week 18 without starters. And they were winning games WITH Mahomes regularly throwing INTs.

This was a top-5 defense, that let the Eagles offense man handle them.

I will say that the eagles have mostly been one dimensional all year, not because they are incapable of passing, but it’s because they didn’t need to pass when the run game was so dominant. But I always believed they were capable of more than just running the ball. The chiefs clearly game planned for the run and wanted hurts to beat them but hurts is capable of beating a defense.lol and in fact, I think hurts actually played better in the 2023 Super Bowl, so this shouldn’t have been something that caught everybody off guard.
