IDK if this 6th among rookies is much to get excited about

Go back 3 years (anything newer is probably too recent to know much) and look at who StatHead tells us finished 6th in each among rookies:

Year: PPG, 3P%
2022: Chris Duarte, Bones Hyland
2021: James Wiseman, Armoni Brooks
2020: Rui Hachimura, Matisse Thybulle
2019: Kevin Knox, Jaren Jackson Jr.
2018: Jayson Tatum, OG Anunoby
2017: Jamal Murray, Alex Abrines
2016: Emmanuel Mudiay, Mario Hezonja
2015: Nerlens Noel, Langston Galloway
2014: Kelly Olynyk, Ryan Kelly
2013: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Orlando Johnson
2012: Derrick Williams, Jimmer Fredette
2011: Landry Fields, Al-Farouq Aminu
2010: Jonny Flynn, Toney Douglas
2009: Brook Lopez, Brandon Rush
2008: Al Horford, Jamario Moon
2007: Walter Herrmann, Randy Foye
2006: Salim Stoudamire, Luther Head
2005: Nenad Krstic, Kirk Snyder
2004: Jarvis Hayes, Richie Frahm
2003: Gordan Giricek, Jay Williams

There's a few guys on there but for the most part it's busts or 8th-9th men who were out of the league in 4 years

I can't imagine being Williams, Reddish, or Knecht and being moved around like ping-pong balls. Yes, they are under contract and can be traded. But, there's a human aspect to this. They need to close this chapter so everyone can move forward.

I agree. I saw Knecht at the game last night and he really looked down. Didn't celebrate too much with the team either. One way or another this needs to be resolved quickly so everyone can move forward.

He needs to learn from Rui. Rui has been put in the washing machine tossed around in a spin cycle. Rui understands the nature of the business. Connect will eventually learn
