Godzilla vs. Kong. The entire sports world isn't ready for but was looking forward to this matchup of superskilled 7-foot monsters.

Lucky to be alive to witness this. Only comes twice a year. (I highly doubt Spurs make the Finals.)

Barring anything wild to happen today and tomorrow, Celtics will enter the ASB as the only team in the top 5 of both offense and defense, per NBA.com. "If we suck on either end, most teams suck even more."

Charles Bassey and Spurs two-ways are all OUT.
Holiday is OUT. Craig and Brown are QUESTIONABLE.

EDIT: Maine Sons are also OUT.

He has some kind of shoulder injury
It has bothered him since the begining of the season. This long rest is good for him

He's also 34.7 years old and played quite a bit in the Olympics last summer. Taking it easy in this regular season is good. He'll likely be big in the playoffs again when they need him to be.

I would like to see Craig listed as "OUT -- too damn stylish to not have dressed up on the bench"

But I'm also eager to see him get in there and set up shop for corner 3s, so it's whatever
He'll need like 10 minutes of game time over the next two months to get ready for whatever emergency duty might be coming his way in the playoffs.

Celtics are just 2-5 (and lost 4 straight) in home games coming off a multi-game road trip.

Since Jrue is out, this will be more data for the double big lineup.

My internet doctoring skills kinda hit a wall trying to figure out what the heck an impingement is. A week or two ago Sam had a hip impingement and I looked it up and it said the bones in the hip don't fit together right and are rubbing on each other and causing pain. But now I just looked up Jrue's shoulder impingement and it's about tendons and nerves instead of bones. Shrug.

First home game back after a couple of road games and they are playing the spurs. What could possibly go wrong?
