He did! I'd sign him, would be great insurance behind Mobley and Allen.jbk1234 wrote:Did Mo Bamba get waived?

Lakers rescinded the Mark Williams trade.

The Bulls are currently beating the Warriors by 16 in Jimmy's debut.

I was mainly interested in the Celts Knicks game and Griz Thunder games today. Griz Thunder was shaping up to be a dud, but Griz are coming back

And I think they can run at LNJ and Boucher if they are bought out bc their salary is below the MLE. So more buy out competition.

I've not heard any rumors on Boucher being bought out, he'd probably reunite with the Warriors lol

With Giannis skipping the All-Star game, it would be awesome to get Jarrett Allen in but i assume Silver picks Ball or Trae.

Honestly, I'd be shocked if Allen got a look at the all-star game unless multiple players went down. I think Trae, Ball, and Maxey all have better cases

Well, he should pull a front court player to replace Giannis ... if he goes by the front court voting it would be Banchero, Brown, Wagner, and then Allen.

Give me the guy with the 3rd highest FG% in the NBA on the team that is 42-10.

I don't hate Ingram's extension, but I'm also glad that we will not be paying him $120 over the next three seasons.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Re: Around The NBA
What about Christian Wood? I know he hasn't played since February 2024 but we have 2 spots, someone I'd keep tabs on the next 2 months to see if we wanted to use 1 of the spots on him.
The Williams trade was rescinded, so then Len backed out of signing with the Pacers. Lakers cut Wood, then sign Len. It is a chain reaction league.

The Cavs could bring Wood in on a 10-day contract at first.

He'd have to be ready to play. There's no point in starting that 10 day clock if he's going to be in street clothes.

If the center-lacking Lakers are cutting him for Alex Len, I’m passing on Wood.

But do you think anything could change the next 60 days? I'm just saying it is worth keeping tabs on.toooskies wrote:If the center-lacking Lakers are cutting him for Alex Len, I’m passing on Wood.

When it comes to 14th and 15th men, you don't mess up the culture fit and Wood has been a misfit all around the league.
I'm just now learning that Wood hasn't played all year due to injury rather than simply being benched, but that's not a huge factor for me. I've heard too much about him over the years to trust him.
And this could just be the Lakers playing a shell game, cutting Wood for now but planning on re-signing him if/when he gets healthy.
