The National Basketball Association, Dallas Mavericks, and American Airlines Center seek to foster a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience in which:

Players and fans respect and appreciate each other.
Guests will be treated in a professional and courteous manner by all arena and team personnel.
Guests will enjoy the basketball experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language and obscene gestures.
Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court will be immediately ejected from the arena.
Guests will smoke in designated smoking areas only.
Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted.
Guests will comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.

The arena staff has been trained to intervene when necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher, security guard, or guest services staff member. Guests who choose not to adhere to this Code of Conduct will be subject to penalty including, but not limited to, ejection without refund, revocation of their season tickets, and/or prevention from attending future games. They may also be in violation of local ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.

The NBA, Dallas Mavericks, and American Airlines Center thank you for adhering to the provisions of the NBA Fan Code of Conduct.

Adam Silver must be content with how this ownership is conducting business. Nothing makes sense.

Well Miriam Adelson supposedly at least isn't sleeping with black chicks and telling them they can f*** Magic Johnson but don't be seen in public with him. She just wants to eliminate Palestine and Dallastine and run the country into the sewer

Actually, she should probably at least try to date Donald Sterling now that she's a widow, I'm sure they'd get along famously. Miriam finding her dream new husband in Donald Sterling would be the smegma on the cake

Nothing at all my friend, but I can guarantee that's the line they'll point to when justifying the soft arse decision though.

We’ve reached the point where those who yell the most about their speech being suppressed are the first to silence people when they get the chance.

Kyrie is going to ask for a trade this summer, nothing surer. He isn't going to tolerate playing for such belligerent ownership long term

He has a player option so it depends on the contract they're willing to give him first. He could always sign it and then pull a Ben Simmons on them and I don't think anyone would even blame him for doing that at this point

So this could come down to arbitration then? What is considered obscene ? Saying someone should get fire ? Where does line get drawn?

The USA? Remind me, what countries jail their citizens for Twitter posts? The USA is literally one of the last bastions for free speech in the world. Almost lost it for a few years, but it’s back now. Hopefully more of the world starts to follow suit.

This is not a good look at all. Adam Silver needs to step in and tell the mavs ownership and FO to figuratively sit the f down.

I hope fans keep pushing this at games too though.
Show up with signs like, “Nico, please find employment elsewhere. Respectfully, we don’t like you”
Could THAT be considered obscene?
Just keep pushing until it’s so ridiculous you have an easy lawsuit victory when they remove you from the stadium 8-)
