Time to trade Embiid... Before he loses all value

Post#1 » by al bondiga » Wed Feb 12, 2025 6:42 pm

As an n b a fan... Philadelphia 76ers are in trouble because they have to get into Off-season with Joel still relatively healthy
So they can get a good trade value

Nba needs teams like Philadelphia now More than ever.

"He's not tradeable right now," added Windhorst. "That contract makes his value not realistic."

You have to give up the gauntlet in order for a team to take on the contract Embiid. He is untradable. Nobody will be willing to take on $60 million a year all the way through 2029 for street clothes. The Sixers are just stuck with Embiid and George for years, and there is basically nothing they can do about it. They will have to sit it out, one way or another.

best course of action is to shut it down, get surgery and hope to be healthy for next year.

there's a world where the sixers have 2 of the worst 5 deals in the league between him and george. you're just hoping embiid gets healthy b/c he's still an elite scorer.

With the way he's looked this season, he doesn't have any value at all. No team is going to give up significant assets for a 7ft behemoth with an assortment of injuries to his foot/knees.

I don’t get why they gave him that extension. So reckless and unnecessary.

There's not a single team in the league that would trade for embiid

His injury concerns are no longer a question mark (and haven't really been for a while now). If he's on your team, you're going to be paying big money to a guy who is pretty much guaranteed to miss half the season.

Absolutely zero value . Bradley Beal level value. He’s a Sixers until that contract expires.

You’d have to attach 5 unprotected picks for anyone to take on that contract.

Embiid Attracts attention to your team. And there are owners that don't give a damn about money...

Can you tell me Crazier, In the nba, than the luka trade?

For Portland I would gamble on him. But wouldnt offer much.

Simons + Ayton + FRP for Joel would be the most I would offer.

too late

part of the package USED TO BE you get him for 40-50games
now it seems irreparable. he is getting injured on mere whim

what is the model going to be,,"only play him in the play-offs?" it would be unprecedented and irresponsible

just look at an image of him. his body is contorted in weird ways, like remnants put together. his body is misshapen like a mummy that wasn't bandaged up correctly

he is a walking jenga
his future is coming off the bench @18mpg..THAT'S IT

Potential suitors know that now they have him under contract for 4 full seasons, his value must be at the peak. And that queue of teams lined up to trade for Embiid keeps growing.

Time is now to cash in!
