The USA? Remind me, what countries jail their citizens for Twitter posts? The USA is literally one of the last bastions for free speech in the world. Almost lost it for a few years, but it’s back now. Hopefully more of the world starts to follow suit.

Our incarceration rate is if not the top among the top in the world. We have very little leg room to stand on when it comes to jailing our people. And in terms of free speech, most developed nations have it just fine.

His argument and I'm not a lawyer is that the NBA has a clear set of rules. And as such it should be the NBA's rules and not the Mav's decision to be made on the fly. Again I don't know the law, but his argument is a bit more nuanced than you're giving it credit for.

The NBA has a minimum set of guidelines that NBA arenas must follow such as not allowing obscene gestures, nudity, profanity, etc. That doesn't mean any NBA team can't kick someone out for whatever reasons they want to based on things that aren't included in those bare minimum things that a team is required by the NBA to not allow at the games.

That said, the fan does a possible chance to get his money back from those tickets if he were to take it to court. The Mavs can still kick him out either way its up to him as to whether or not he would want to try and fight to get his money back for those tickets.

As I said I'm not a lawyer, but I suspect there needs to be some level of guidelines that come with buying a ticket. They can't for example decide to ban all fans in t-shirts from a game without announcing it ahead of time I'd assume.

We should see if we can make a Lawsuit against them for unjustly kicking out paying fans. Or at the very minimum getting a refund, as services were not rendered.

The people that try to tell you that US is the freesom capitol of the world mostly know nothing of the world and likely very little about their own country

SMU is in Dallas, it's literally a 10 minute drive from there to the Mavs' arena. It's actually closer to the arena than Nico's house (no, I won't post the address). Nico really must not be too bright if he's attending a game there. I assume he still had massive security

Clown behavior from the organization. This sh*t starts at the top with Miriam Adelson. She's a sh*t-stain on the Mavs and a sh*t-stain to the world

MFFL need to protest/picket the arena. Empty arenas to send a message
Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

I hope the people who say that players should be able to kick out fans for any reason aren't the ones outraged here.

People being kicked out of NBA games for expressing their opinions is nothing new. But usually it's celebrated here because a fan deserved it for whatever reason.

Unless fans were chanting some vulgarities in unison like we sometimes hear at soccer games, fans can boo whoever they like. Don’t get me wrong there are always some fans who make it a point to say and do inappropriate things and they should be kicked out by security staff when pointed out. This doesn’t seem to be the case for this incident
