Warriors vs. Mavs game thread 2/12

Post#1 » by DonaldSanders » Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:40 am

Steph, Jimmy, Dray vs. Kyrie, Klay, and... ???

Image

Goal for the night is to let Steph and some other starters get an early rest for the B2B. This is a must win for the standings, in terms of us getting a win and pushing the Mavs down in the standings.

Mavs are missing a ton of players:

I thought the Mavs would win the West again with Luka. Luka and Kyrie are so good at bringing that playoff basketball down to a snails pace. Luka and his big body backing in guards for easy shots, Kyrie hitting tough shots. Klay can run hot. Washington is athletic and active. Lively cleans up a lot and Gafford is a high energy backup center.

Post doesn't realize how aggressive he needs to be when he closes out against a red hot Klay.

Warriors completely stopped passing the ball in the half court.

They've left at least 10 points on the rim on blown easy layups. Infuriating.

So what does Kerr rollout in the 3rd quarter ?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Don’t know why Kerr is playing around playing post and looney so much in this game when they have no bigs.
