Some of the football I’ve seen today was amazing, Asensio x Rogers x Ramsey x Rashford it’s going to be a scary sight but not for us.

Not saying this could happen, but you're basing this on a match against Tottenham...

True, but it is their first run together too, so there's not been any time to build cohesiveness or an understanding. Very good first hit out for them

Just be nice to have some CB's healthy though...

From Amorian. It seems it is where Dorgu has played the most this yesr and just to make him comfortable.

However i never want to see Dalot play LWB, ever again. He needs to be on the right or transfered out.

Sent from my SM-S921U using RealGM mobile app

He played as a inverted right winger quite a bit for Lecce this season. It just doesn't fit with a left footer as a right wingback. He is supposed to create width and overlap on the right side - as a left footer. It really doesn't make much sense. He is perfect as a left-wingback and that's why they signed him. Amorim don't have to be smart and do something different - just for the sake of doing something different.

Yeah I am, it’s obviously early days but for their first mins together it looks good so far. Nothing wrong with me being excited seeing my team play good regardless of anything…

I’m sure you’d feel the same if you saw two of your younger players play well with two of your new signings…

Hopefully Mings will be back for our next game and Konsa should be ok to go for the weekend as well. Disasi will probably make his debut too, I think earliest Pau comes back is in early March?

No, I wouldn't. There's a thing called context, which is what I gave you.

What you're describing is that of present Manchester United fans. And we've all see the rollercoaster they have been on this season. As soon as the Red Devils win a game, a corner is turned.

Again, the new signings may very well hit the ground running, but give it more than one match against one of, if not the worst, Tottenham side under Levy.

I just said to you, it’s obviously early days but it looks good so far. It excites me and as a fan of my own team I am allowed to be excited. Maybe you’re not the same about your young players and new signings but hey that’s on you.

Comparing what I said to what United fans say is just silly imo lol, especially if you know us Villa fans we are super critical and can get pessimistic. Obviously it’s only one half of a game against a struggling Tottenham side, but I can feel encouraged by what I’ve seen so far. I haven’t declared them the best thing since sliced bread, I’ve just said a tongue in cheek comment about it’s going to be scary but not for us.

Havertz set to miss, potentially, the rest of the season. He may not be the most prolific scorer but I think this is a pretty big hit to Arsenal's title push. That said, one of the silver linings to the Arsenal injury crisis is the young players coming through -- Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are impressive talents.
It's time for 5 refs.

Absolute scenes at Goddison Park , that finish from Tarkowski was quality.

The scenes after though were unsavoury, don’t know why Curtis Jones went to go after Doucoure - I need to see the replays again but looked like Doucoure went to shh the Liverpool fans and he got jumped sort of?

Ayy, a class finish from Tarkowski.

Curtis went to tell Doucoure he shouldn't do that, fair enough, gave him a push, and then was swarmed by Ashley Young and I think Alcaraz. Not much in it overall. A 2nd yellow for each is fine. Slot got a red for a bit of an aggressive handshake with Oliver after. Oliver shouldn't be doing PL matches.

God Michael Oliver is awful lol sending Slot off for an aggressive handshake sounds like an ego trip

Oliver ruined my enjoyment of the last classic Goodison Park game ever after 132 years. He lost the game in the first half when he let wild tackles by the lesser team make players from both team lose their cool with some crazy, dangerous challenges.
Great goal, technique by Tarkowski but unnecessary goal from LFC POV. Weak challenge by Konate, his team didn't respect the opponent enough.

Very disappointing to lose it late. Simply put, it's a massive two points dropped...

Massive only if the next two games aren't impressive wins like usual. Arsenal has to win their away games too. Without or without Thier only decent striker, they are uneven.

Psychologically, the 9-point gap may have been too much for Arsenal. With it only at 7, it's much more manageable, especially when you see three of four next PL opponents are Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle.

Nwaneri - Trossard - Sterling.

Our attacking options at the moment...
We've been so unlucky with injuries this season.

Injury luck happen to everyone but i think the the people above Arteta is a joke. How can't you have a sport director or better one the last one who didn't make one smart signing for Arteta in years? Do you need 11 center backs really?
You need backup in the frontline, wingers. Arsenal should have 5 versions of Trossard, better versions of Havertz, Jesus. It is about poor work in the transfer market and the injuries are just an excuse. If you can't win games without Martinelli and Havertz you don't belong in the hunt for the title imho.
