Why do the Wizards need Khris to play games? They're an extreme tanking team & he's in his 30's.

They have every reason to get him to whatever his 100% is and try to move him next year as an expiring.

but patc/portis/ajj for kuzma wouldnt gotten under the apron? so no deal? how do we acquire him without khris?

Brook/Pat for Kuz would have gotten us under the apron. And we might have actually had to attach less assets cuz 3/4 of that salary would have been expiring. Khris had considerably negative value to them cuz he's under contract for 2 yrs.

Also, if the requirement is just legs for rebounding & d, Nance & 2 2nds for Bobby would have done it. Then use the 2 2nds, maybe Tyler Smith, to attach Pat & get under the apron. Still do the Wright for Sims as your 4th big deal. & the KPJ deal.

Khris could have still been on the team, while giving up less future assets, & serving the interests of getting under the 2nd apron while adding an athletic supporting cast. Didn't require doing Kuz for Khris + AJ Johnson specifically. That's the most costly route.

It’s been a long season. This was a fun game.

And enjoyable to see an even slower team with less BBIQ than us.

They are easily the dumbest team in the league with the dumbest superstar in Ant, followed closely by Gobert.

Conley is a corpse, but they desperately need his organization. NAW is a really nice player, but he has 0 PG skills.

Sure, but what about Middleton, Kuzma, Bobby? That's a no brainer, especially when Giannis would be playing a ton of 5 in the playoffs. Brook would be on the bench if he was still here with those guys.

Do people even realize that KPJ averaged 19 a game in the 22~23 season. This was a great pick up.

He also shot the three pretty well each of his last two seasons in Houston. Im definitely not going to just assume he cant shoot anymore.

I kind of wonder if we moved AJ Johnson in part because we knew we were getting kpj.

He moves so much better than someone like Bobby. Seemed like the best guy on the court for the wolves for decent stretches. I’m a huge fan.

Also, for those of us who were big TSJ fans from the draft, he’s tough. He’s so much more physical than most guards he’ll go up against. He’s just a lot to handle. Fun player with a pretty bright future.

I would not, for present & future. And we keep Brook in the Nance scenario. So it's Brook/Middleton/Nance/AJ v. Bobby/Kuz. The other scenario was Middleton/Kuz/Bobby/AJ. Those are both far better than what we ended up, w/ Kuz as 3rd banana, who becomes 2nd if Dame/Giannis get injured at any point in the playoffs (they likely will).

The speed factor from Kuzma and KPJ was evident tonight.

speed and the size. defensively and on the boards its going to be a huge addition. i know minnesota shot poorly but it was obvious on alot of those shots and in the lane they were getting bothered more than what im used to watching around here.

It’s pretty wild that a team with the Greek Freak could lack athleticism to the extent we did.

This need to constantly rag on a dude who's giving us 26/5/8 on 62% TS is lame as hell. Dude is 34 years old and still 7th in the entire league in minutes per game, grinding to help us win games, and we got dudes in here actively rooting against him.

Absolutely absurd. Dame has had a very nice season and his presence has helped Giannis unlock another level on offense. Whereas Giannis paint dominance limits Dame's penetration opportunity, so that hasn't really worked to Dame's strong suits. We now have a large sample size that shows Giannis is somewhat hard for other players to gel with.

What really gets me is some accusing Dame of being a bad teammate, a drunk, or lazy. The guy has won teammate of the year just like Jrue. The Anthony Mason comparison legit makes me angry.

Bucks have been better with him on the bench all year, and have a higher win % when he sits out. The defense completely tanks when he's in the game. Dame is in no way above criticism.

Yup, great win. To me, these defense 1st games are fun. However, I think it's also important to recognize how these games happen.
