Stephen Curry was the second highest paid athlete in the world in 2024 at a combined total of $153.8 million ($100 million in endorsements, $53.8 million salary). LeBron James ranked fifth at $133.2 million. The pair were two of the 36 basketball players in the top-100.

He doesn't have a contract for $153.8 million.

He has multiple contracts, the NBA plus a plethora of endorsements.

It's surprising that Curry seemingly makes more in endorsements than Ronaldo currently does. Of course, Ronaldo still manages to make over $100M more...

Largely thanks to Nico Harrison, who blew the presentation for Curry and Nike. Then, Curry went to Under Armour, and a large chunk of the endorsement money comes from them. But, I am sure Nico Harrison did a wonderful job later...
