I think most of our "others" are pretty robotic but still effective enough for role player guys.. the ones with wiggle seem to be Rollins, KPJ, and Kuz... TP showed a tiny bit today. Interested to see how the rotation shapes out. Maybe you keep KPJ for the 2nd unit for that punch he has

Yeah, we'll be calling Brook Space Mountain rather than Spash Mountain. Such speed!

Is it just me or do the Wolves desperately need a PG to get them into their sets? The best they looked was with Ingles on the floor. Ant has to work so hard for all his shots and Gobert really clogs the lane for Ant.

Kuz is going to be so frustrating. It's night and day the difference between him and Midds athletically and I think he can be an asset defensively, but on offense it's just dribble pullups to an inefficient jumper or a wild pass. Like if he attacked the hoop he'd be incredible.

He had a bunch of free throws and shots at the rim tonight attacking. He did take some dumb shots too but you can’t get to the rim every time against a team that has Ant, McDaniels, Naz, and Gobert out there.

I thought the whole team was pretty fearless attacking the rim tonight against a team that has a lot of long shot blockers.

Having a fast team generally means 1 - 4 ... as long as it's just the C lumbering down, he can usually still set a screen or be the trailer even on a fast break. The problem is when you have 2 or 3 + on the floor together and you look like. Silver league retirement center team. Don't play Brook and Bobby together and that's still intact.

If you need a turbo lineup for small ball then Giannis is the center and put GTJ ... boom that's blazing

Rollins spotting KPJ a 14 point lead was key. Rollins got Edwards out of rythm mid 1st quarter after Ajax left and changed the game.

This is why I’m in the sign Rollins train. Even though his shoulder is clearly affecting his shot and his finishing ability, he’s still been more than solid on D, has sneaky length and strength, and even gets rebounds.

I also thought KPJ did a great job on the boards tonight. He attacks those rebounds like Kuz does.

Yeah, I mean over time.. with Kuz, GTJ, TP, and even KPJ coming on he already shouldn't be starting. After that you have Dairy and maybe a buyout wing that can D and shoot.. suddenly ajax is the odd man out on a shortened playoff rotation. He's kind of twitchy or Gadzy on D even.. idk we'll see.

I get it, people are already butthurt that I speak the truth on Dame.

Then the Bucks go out get one of their most fun and one of their best wins of the season on the road......with Dame in street clothes.

Kevin Porter Jr please come save us.

As I mentioned a couple days ago, I expect Doc to go with the hot hand/defense between Green, Trent, Porter, or Ajax down the stretch. And when calls for it, more than one of them.

Very meh game from a historically meh player.

Not gonna deny that he helped tonight though.

Not that I don’t agree with your overall take here, but a very meh game? That’s the part I’m not sure I agree with. Kuz is a frustrating player by all accounts, he takes bad shots and is out of control some of the time but his energy and pace is light years beyond what I was anticipating after the trade. That can be contagious moving forward with Giannis and the rest of the team will follow suit knowing if they can get to their spots, they can be effective. Closing out defensive possessions and transitional offense were 2 things really bogging us down so far this year, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how much Kuzma helps in both those key areas….

Yep, there was a MASSIVE play in the fourth where Kuz grabbed a long rebound, dribbled up the floor at Giannis-in-transition speed, and kicked to a wide open corner three for Trent.

He’s an imperfect player and does dumb things but those things are happening because he is playing fast and trying to use his athleticism. He gives you full effort every minute in the court and can do so for starters minutes. A team of dinosaurs needed that badly.

but patc/portis/ajj for kuzma wouldnt gotten under the apron? so no deal? how do we acquire him without khris?

Brook/Pat for Kuz would have gotten us under the apron. And we might have actually had to attach less assets cuz 3/4 of that salary would have been expiring. Khris had considerably negative value to them cuz he's under contract for 2 yrs.

Also, if the requirement is just legs for rebounding & d, Nance & 2 2nds for Bobby would have done it. Then use the 2 2nds, maybe Tyler Smith, to attach Pat & get under the apron. Still do the Wright for Sims as your 4th big deal. & the KPJ deal.

Khris could have still been on the team, while giving up less future assets, & serving the interests of getting under the 2nd apron while adding an athletic supporting cast. Didn't require doing Kuz for Khris + AJ Johnson specifically. That's the most costly route.

Perhaps there’s factors you are not privy to. Maybe the Bucks knew they couldn’t afford to rely on Midds to be available because his medicals are so bad? Maybe that also made them super concerned they’d be locked into him for another $34M next season. Even if Midds is medically cleared, there is no guarantee he’d play next season until Dec or Jan as he’s been taking PTO to start the regular season for years now.

Maybe the ONLY way to get off Midds contract was including AJJo so the Wiz would wave the medical for Midds?

Kuz played 39 minutes tonight. Midds will likely never play 39 minutes in one game the rest of his career.
