No salt at all, just sharing a neutral, informative video that happens to be called ‘Paul’s George is a fraud.’

I'm a Clipper fan that is a PG hater if you check out my other posts. Salty because he didn't leave on a sign and trade but otherwise I'm glad he's gone.

Anyway, That video was from 2017 after he left the Pacers. I'm sure OKC fans agree with it and now Clipper fans agree with it.
We'll have to wait till 2028 for you sixers fan to agree with it. Or maybe sooner if you guys trade him. See you in April or May :)

Is there going to be a presser introducing Paul George? I guess it’s not a big deal, but don’t teams usually do this when it’s such a big signing. I don’t live in Philadelphia so I haven’t heard if there’s one scheduled.

It's whatever, this is realgm and we've all been on both ends of this. Just funny that you were like 'this is just facts and isn't negative at all' and the video has such a wild clickbait title.

They'll probably wait until the initial wave of signings is complete and then do the presser. Still a chance a guy like Highsmith gets signed soon.

Great. Now we need Maxey to also get onto this list and we're golden.

Can’t believe my favorite player joined my team. I’m still in shock even though I know the last two years will probably age terribly.

If he can play at peak '19-'21 Khris Middelton level this is going to be a huge signing, we don't even need him to be close to Superstar level.

If he can be a solid playmaker, off ball threat and defender, he's going to thrive here. Basically an elite 3rd option who can slide to 2nd option when needed. He fits perfectly on paper with Biid and Maxey.

No need to say he's going to be a massive upgrade over Tobias.

I'm going to say tho i wished he was more of a leader and mentally tough player, because we really need help in that department and it has to come from one of your top players.

A lot of what Dan Dikach said was true back in 2017 video below. I had to witness it as a Clipper fan to believe it.

I agree he is a horrible passer, but his streaky shooting is silky smooth and nearly unstoppable when his game is on. Also an excellent ball defender when healthy.

Late to welcoming PG but if you can stay relatively healthy, he makes the game so easy and fun unlike the guy he replaced.

As with Embiid (see my post in the Joel: unchained thread), Paul George has been a nothingburger as well in 2024-2025:

He's played in 33 games and missed 19.

In the games in which he's played, the Sixers' scoring margin is an average of -3.2 (i.e., they lose by 3.2 points on average).

In the games he's missed, their scoring margin is an average of -5 (i.e., they lose by 5 points on average).

Like with Embiid this isn't even close to a statistically significant difference.

The presence or absence of Paul George on the floor makes no meaningful difference in the team's performance.

Disagree cause once we reach the playoffs in the weak East, he will turn into Playoff P, the next best thing to playoff Jimmy!

That's why the Warriors wanted him during the trade deadline but we didn't want what Miami got in return which is Wiggins without any playoff nickname.

Morey wouldn't have offered him a max contract without that moniker. It's all about stepping up and being clutch during the playoffs, which matters most now as opposed to merely getting under the aprons.

Does that answer your question?

As a Clipper fan, I was super excited for Paul George as well when he came to LA with Kawhi. Then I think a Pacers or Thunder fan showed me that Paul George is a Fraud video and we laughed it off too. Yes, it took me awhile to believe that video because he did take us to our first WCF. I thought he would be good for you guys for 2 seasons but he just doesn't care. He got his money and stopped trying. Side note, I really enjoy this sixers podcast on Youtube "Run it back Philly." Funny guy

2 points. How do you only score 2 points in 37 minutes? If PG was still a clipper, then he would have sat tonight. Clipper fans, the few of us, aren't as passionate as sixers fans. He wouldn't hear it from us. I'm glad you sixers fans are bullying his ass to play. Can't believe he sat out 5 or 6 games with a left pinky injury, soft mf

I won't change lanes. When we made the move I said it was a move "we kinda had to make" if we were going to continue to "compete" with Embiid.

I honestly thought worst case scenario was PG would be only slightly better than Tobias' 2023-24 form but at least willing to let it fly. Turns out he's not even as good.
