Kyrie Irving scoring 42 points was exciting to watch.
Nice win Mavs!

Golden State had trouble from three so they took the ball inside.

Points in the paint:
GS 62
Mavs 48

Fast Break Points:
GS 2 points
Mavs 15 points

I still stand by what i said. AT WORST this team is going to the finals. But only if everyone is healthy. No one can deal with Lively, Gafford, AD and PJ. Also if Klay keeps scoring in 20 pts range that will be huge. If they had him last season vs Boston, things could have gone differently.

As scary as OKC look, I'd love to watch them play Lively/AD/PJ front court, no one in the league is equipped to deal with this much skilled size, but they need to get healthy and make the PO it's a battle every day.

This team with Luka? Yes.
The current roster? I don't this so.

We lack in playmaking a lot, POs are half court games and we will probably struggle.

Add Klay at least year roster and the Finals would have probably been a Game 7... And I don't bet against Luka Doncic in a game7.

Yep. Too much rebounding, rim presence and on top of that, AD and Lively are both mobile enough to even guard quicker wings. PJ when locked in, is a very underrated defender. And Christie is simply incredible... that dude basically changed their entire guard situation. If Nico wasn't Nico, he wouldn't have traded Grimes and that would be an extra POA defender. But anyway, this team is stacked as hell right now, i think even more than OKC.

But yeah, the only thing stopping them is health.

OKC doesn't worry me one bit. PJ turns into prime Michael Jordan everytime he faces them.

Really don't think so, AD has a ton of shot creation from mid-range (think Dirk) and post-up and Ky is Ky.
I do think that if everyone is healthy this team is extremely strong. However currently it's obviously a battered skeleton roster.

With that being said I'm very impressed with the last games and the effort given how literally "short" handed we are.

Anthony Davis mid range game is nothing special (now where Dirk for sure hahahahaha ), plus he is a bad 3points shooter... With PJ(or Naji),AD and Lively(or Gafford) on the court Kyrie will be doubled almost every possesion in PO games.
They don't open the court.

Can anyone post some stats about Anthony Davis mid range?

Mid range game + closer to the 3pt line

Career %'s

-AD 42% and 38%

-Dirk 46.8% and 47.4%

-Luka 46% and 40%

Funny thing is, Luka and Dirk both had worst years when they started season 1 and 2. Then Luka mostly hovered around 50%. AD on the other hand has had consistently bad mid range %'s. Though he did improve his shot closer to the 3pt line.

I don't worry about OKC or Celtics or Cavs too. Because we are not gonna play them anyway.

Glad they held on this time. Deserved it after the SAC game. Was afraid it was gonna be a repeat of that game where they play really well only to lose steam in the 4th quarter when the size difference takes its toll. The strength of this group is defense switchability, but I wonder if giving up all those offensive rebounds cancels it out, and Golden State isn't even a big team. Getting PJ back hopefully after the AS break helps.

Phenomenal night for Kyrie. Happy he got the All-Star nod. Christie continues to impress. Also those Naji floaters are money. Edwards with a clutch block on Jimmy. And OMP with 6 assists is nice.
