Scottie has been a huge disappointment all season and is getting close to being a finished product, which is to say, he's close to cementing himself as a Draymond Green clone. Dick has taken a step forward offensively, but he'll always be a sieve on defence. JaKobe still allows me to dream that he'll become a productive player on both sides of the ball.

Since when Draymond Green ever has a yr averaging 20pts per game? You are obviously talking from your ass and your opinion doesn't worth ****

He's been given the greenlight to jack up shots. He's acoring 20 PPG on 52% TS, a downright embarrassing mark.

I really like how we are set up to give him a good look until the end of the season. For a 19th overall pick he looks good. His shooting should get more consistent but most importantly he looks good on defense

All the rookies should be given as much fun as they can handle.
Chomche, Ja'Kobe, Mogbo, Shead, and Battle.

Might be some ugly ball but see what we have before the team's roster gets crowded starting next season.

He's going to take all of Gradey's minutes next year. Dick's defense is just too terrible to have him be on the court when we aren't tanking.

But that's his downside.

No thats his backside.

Lowry's upside is mental and psychological.

Mogbo, battle, shead are 3rd stringers realistically and thats ok seeing where they were drafted... Dick and Walter are maybe 15 to 20 min a game guys next year when we are trying to win and thats assuming they have good rest of season and summer of development, specially dick with his weak ass frame

Ive seen enough, Walter is a keeper over Gradey

Walter can do more on offense and defense. Even on off shooting night, you can expect a good effort in defense. Impact player

Is Mogbo a third stringer? His statistical profile so far doesn't strike me as that. He has good advanced numbers for a rookie and he's hit a lot more threes than I would have expected at this point. He moves incredibly well on defense, great instincts.

Shead is more of a question for sure. He has to cut down the turnovers, and keep up the three point shooting to be a decent backup.

Battle is a guy you slot in whenever you need him. He's as good of an open shooter as you're going to find. Great find by Masai and co. Like Mogbo he's got a great statistical profile for a rookie. You never know how that shooting is going to go in the second year, but so far he's a very good piece.

Need Battle as a 9th or 10th man, so 2nd stringer. Look at Cleveland spam the 3 like the Celtics did. It's like they tell them, shoot the 3 since you shoot above average and spend energy playing defense. Strus, Merrill, Jaylon Tyson. Ty Jerome (they probably won't be able to afford him next season) didn't even play last night.

Walter is much better than Gradey it's not even close. He looks shifty with the ball and he's good at drawing fouls. His shooting has been disappointing but it's the one skill I can see coming around.

None of our rookies are stellar. Mogbo is probably the best one and he's shown the most in season improvement.

Shead isn't that good. He is small and will have finishing issues and his shooting isn't projected to be amazing. I could see us going with Traore or Fears at the draft to fill that back up role.

Battle has good size but doesn't use it. He should be more aggressive with his shooting volume. I could see him building on his shot and showing a good driving game next year.

I agree 100%. I honestly don't get the fascination with Gradey. Even if he's scoring, he's giving it right back on defense. Teams are just going to keep attacking over and over when he's on the floor. He's slow, tends to reach/get handsy, poor at recovering his defensive positioning, and has poor defensive awareness. It was all on full display last night against the Cavs. You could see IQ get frustrated with him on a few occasions. Lowry would have ripped him apart on multiple occasions if they had played together lol.

Agreed with the Walter over dick talk. Grady needs more effort. Walter needs some more leg strength and he's good to go with more reps.

Effort is one thing I don't question with Dick.

He is physically overmatched every night.

That's always been my biggest concern with GD. If his shot isn't going down, how is he helping the team win?

Walter could be scoring 0, but you can see his defensive effort is helping. Bench players are essentially put in to play defense & not blow the lead.

Sam Merrill and Max Strus were a part of Cleveland jumping out to the large lead they did last night. They both played 26 minutes. I don't see any reason Battle can't be a Max Strus kind of player by the time he is 28.

This board and pitting Raptor players against each other for no reason. A time honoured tradition.

I don’t know about you but I’m still pissed we chose Calderon over TJ Ford! lol of course I’m only joking about the pissed part. Can you imagine that Calderon almost had the GROAT relegated to backup.

I remember way back when talking to my friends about Tabak vs Oliver Miller vs Acie Earl.

The board would explode over this debate....

Or Calderon vs. Lowry.

Dick being Calderon. Walter being the fiestier Lowry.

I think a lot of these debates subconsciously come down to Defense vs. Offense. Being a fan that focuses on offense vs a fan that appreciates strong defense..........I think that's where a lot of the opinions differ.
