But the current season is the one you officially made the switch to full Chiefs fandom, right?

Is anything in here really considered official?

Since last February I guess. All out after Jerry brought back McCarthy. But also did many times since 2019 when the playoffs started. Cowgirls always choked in the playoffs with Dumb Dak.

BREAKING NEWS: Jerry and Dak say the team is good

Is there an owner or QB who would say the opposite?

I guess if we take Dak at his word, the drought will be over soon.

If only they could see the circus culture they are creating by declaring they are going to win games...

That’s fine if he wants to say that, it’s ok to be delusional, but he was also comparing the cowboys to the eagles and that doesn’t make sense to me. He hasn’t played this current eagles team. Literally half the defense is different from the last time he played them and the DC is different. He’s also always struggled against Vic fangio defenses too, and this is the best defense fangio has ever had and the core players on that defense are mostly very young (25 or younger).

This is not news. lol
Name me a QB who will publicly say we have no intention of winning this year. We are just rebuilding and hoping for the best.

The Eagles defense is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum from Dallas. One is elite the other is gutter. That said defensive units are much harder to keep in an elite state than offenses are. Generally speaking on offense if you have a great QB you will be at least "decent". But on defense the unit functions as a whole and if one key piece is removed the whole thing can get thrown out of whack. So I would say you better enjoy your defense while you have it, because odds are it won't be this great much longer.

A defenses best friend is a great running game. Time of possession and getting a lead.
The eagles have to hope that Barkley can stay healthy and doesn’t regress too much next year.

You’re right, but also no major player on defense is up for free agency any time soon outside of zach baun. And honestly, I think it’s in baun’s best interest to come back to the eagles even if it means taking a little less to do so. He was a NOBODY until he signed with the eagles in 2024. So we will see, but losing him would hurt I admit.

Playing only 1 game per year at MetLife stadium will do him a lot of good, but we already knew that

It’s not true.
Cap number is different than actual salary.
Howie likes to push money into future void years.
I remember hearing the eagles have about 175 million in dead money coming around 2027.
