I was maybe the only one on the forum that kept saying the Clippers letting him walk for nothing was what they had to do if the Warriors wouldn’t give a fair trade.

The only thing very worse than being a sixers fan is probably being a Mavs fan right now.

They should have trade PG for Luka.

“Absolutely,” George responded. “You know, absolutely. I’d be lying if I said I thought I came in here and I thought this would be an easy process. It’s been challenging. It’s definitely been challenging.

“But I’m here to learn and figure it out. He’s an unbelievable talent. He makes the game easy with just his presence, his attention that he draws. But it’s been a challenge.

So is it easy is or is it hard LOL

In all seriousness, his monthly splits have improved a lot (setting aside February since it's only the 12th):

NOV- 14.4/5.7/4.8 on .378/.286/.800
DEC- 16.3/5.5/4.7 on .426/.338/.774
JAN- 20.5/5.8/4.6 on .470/.447/.944
(Pts/Reb/Ass) - FG/3P/FT

If he could maintain his January numbers for the rest of the year, that's about what I would have expected this year from him in a generally positive (if not dominant) contribution. It's years 2,3, and 4 that I was worried about, especially years 3 and 4.

His FTA are declining due to age, the more that happens the less impactful he is and the more he is becoming Tobias George.

It's clearly easy-hard, duh!

PG acting like he's just there to hang out is terrible, must be frustrating for Philly fans.

There's no way there was this large of an ability level decline from 33 to 34.

Good it's not the Clippers problem.

While I think he would be playing better as a Clipper, this still holds true.

Instead of going and proving the Clips management wrong about their assessment that you didn't want to take on the responsibility of a stae but wanted the pay, he just proves them even more right.

Add Painkiller P to this long list of aliases. Shams just reported that he’s taking pain killing injections to deal with all the nagging injuries, I swear this dude has an excuse for everything.

do the Sixers have the 2 worst contracts in the league?
Beal might be the only one giving those 2 competition simply because of his dumb NTC

He is simply checked out; I do not think he is this bad. He is aware that this team is flawed and that he has never been the one who wants to take over. Maxey is the exact opposite, but PG is currently only vying for titles at this point in his career, and as everyone on the board is aware, this team is not going anywhere right now because Embiid is damaged goods.

That is my read anyways. I honestly don\t know why we haven\t shut down pg and embiid yet. It's over and been over. Let them both heal and try to get them healthy for next year maybe pick up a top 3 pick in the process.

Sixers organization are lucky that the Eagles made the city of Philly not care at all about the Sixers disappointing season.

I would not call those stats :
A. Advanced metrics
B. Complete disaster

Worst for PG, but not a complete disaster.

Clippers really got lucky

It is not luck, it was a choice. fans and media got to get used to the idea that "losing a guy for nothing" is definitely not the worst thing that can happen. Thankfully he is not untradeable because I think the 76ers would trade Embiid's contract for his...
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I don't think that is true. Did the Red Soxs and Pats ruin the Celtics championship for you?

I guess they'd never be able to change the cba to make contracts non guaranteed, but man they really need to do something about this. So many guys just break the bank and just completely check out and just don't care. Not fair to the teams or the fans.

no sense to kick him now when he's down, lol. what a performance lmfao. he's not doing himself any favors with his comments this season, from the bizarre "i'm bored" to the "challenge" that is playing next to Joe L and now after this historically bad performace vs. the Nets, he came out post-game and said: "i had no burst", you really can't make this stuff up

dude did so much podcasting that he's forgotten when to shut up lol. just stfu, Philly fans are gonna eat him alive lol

with that said, he will play better during this contract. not 50M per worth of "better" but still considerably better than how he's been this season and how he's playing rn

oh and seriously wth are the 76ers doing? just shut down these two clowns already. let them rest, give Embiid the Lonzo treatment or something and tank for the pick. save these guys the wear and tear, maybe PG comes back rejuvenated mentally and physically after half a sabbatical

it's too late to catch the bottom four but the 5th worst record in the league is totally up for grabs for the 76ers. they're tied with the Nets and the Raps are a few games back but aren't really tanking. getting a top 5-6 pick would be sweet and who knows, maybe they bink on Flagg...

stop squinting and shut it down already lol

They should fire Morey this summer. His compete focus on only getting stars has absolutely derailed the team and handicapped them from building a real complete roster.
