3 pt shooting slump has been the major reason for recent losses...looks like another bad shooting night so far but atleast they are executing other things on the offense well. Rookies have been fun to watch

Dude is garbage at defense, sorry folks.

Follows it with a block. When guys are out for long stretches it takes a while to settle back in. Also, I am not sure that Minott was supposed to be the one switching. I went back and looked, Shannon runs into Minott and over pursued on JW. Minott did what he was supposed to do which is to take a man in transition. TSJ not only doubles on the ball but does so by running into a teammate. If you have game recorded rewind to 1:08:09 to see the action.

As I said in the identity thread, that is our primary identity this season. We are much more like Boston in that shooting variance is the #1 factor deciding winning or losing.

Way better energy than yesterday..
Even if we lose, this effort is an absolute minimum.

Minnesota has been playing mostly switching concept on screens this game, a good example of that is 4:25 left in the second quarter (you can actually see Naz try to switch and return to his man when Jaden stunts/walls off the screen seconds before).

Keeping it real, he got totally roasted on the block possession too. Super flat footed in transition. Fortunately people were there to help so he could recover, but he just doesn't have any defensive awareness. I would be very surprised if Minnesota picks up his option next season, I don't think he has the awareness defensively to be fully playable. Joe Ingles is a mess athletically and can't defend a folding chair in one-on-one coverage, but even he tends to find the right spots as a help defender.

Ant needs to start hitting some shots. Second game in a row where an ice cold Ant is a negative on the offensive end.

Jaden starts with a nice and 1. Since then, missed a free throw, missed the rebound on the free throw, it leads to a transition layup. Then Jaden misses another rebound for another transition layup. Then Jaden misses an open corner 3 to give up another transition layup. Jaden needs to get his head in the game before the game gets away from us.

Gotta foul him for real or just not touch him. Bad foul by Jaden there.

Shannon and Clark are guys who go and get the 50-50 balls. That's something this team has been lacking for a while.

Really dislike having Joe Ingles, Luka Garza, and Rob Dillingham on the court together. Hideous lineup.

Garza trying to guard SGA at the 3pt line, Shai was literally 5 ft past Luka by the free throw line.

I love the pace of this squad, I really would like to see Anthony Edwards play at this speed in bursts.

Luka hitting shots makes a huge difference in his ability to contribute.

Garza strung out on meth throwing off the equilibrium of okc. They can't handle his intensity.. lmao, that guy is a trip
