Meet the Grahams was the hardest diss record of the beef. It just gets overshadowed by Not Like Us becoming a smash hit.

MTG sounded like Drake was being walked down on a poorly lit road by a serial killer. It was brutal, cold and he threw Drake's family into a pool of filth.

I don't think dude will ever recover from this. He's rich and all but it has to eat at him every day that he got destroyed and labeled a pedophile for life. That's never going away. When people see him the words "a minor" will ring through their thoughts.

Hence the term “They Not Like Us” which has a deeper meaning that reverberates more with Black Americans (as did the Super Bowl performance), because others outside of The Culture may have the deeper than surface level elements going over their heads.

Did Drake take offense because he is mixed race?

Drake takes offense to everything. Cuz he a tenderloin.

Drake was the first ever rapper to sue over rap beef.

Like, I'm old and grew up on Wu Tang, Mobb Deep and Nas, but on my life I've never seen anyone get dissed so badly that they had to file a lawsuit over it.

I want to hate how I don't hate that I know what you're refering to. But I don't. Truth be told, might be the only viable option at this point.

He warned Drake to keep families out of it in Euphoria, Drake had already mentioned his girlfriend's name in Push ups.

“We ain’t gotta get personal, this a friendly fade, you should keep it that way.
I know some **** about ninjas that make Gunna look like a saint” - Kendrick

Then Drake dropped "Family matters" song, Drake was talking his wife & kids in that song. Within an hour of that song coming out, Kendrick had Meet the Grahams out and squashed the Family Matters song the same night it came out, it was pretty much over after that and Not Like Us was the victory lap and nail in the coffin.

Also, Kendrick has pretty much taken everything from Drake since then, the thing Drake is most proud of is Spotify streaming numbers and Kendrick has set all sorts of records there in the last couple months.

Wow. So Drake's dumb ass crossed the line and Kendrick chopped his ass up like hamburger meat!! I never liked Drake to begin with. Now I hate him. You never drag family into these beefs. Once that happens all bets are off. In the real streets Drake wouldn't be around anymore. Kendrick made it even better than that though. Destroyed him. Nice. Now I have a better understanding of things that I never even cared about to begin with. Thanks for the knowledge brother. Drake can eat a whole bag of dicks.

He did the same thing with Pusha-T, he mentioned Pusha-T's fiance by name and then got body bagged. His go to move is talking about your wife or girlfriend.

I don't dislike Drake, he makes catchy songs, but he bit off more than he can chew with Kendrick. He's more of a pop star where as Kendrick is a rapper that probably reads Art of War and 48 laws of power nightly.

Kendrick is talented, legit battle rapper, but THE FANS are invested in the drama, the poison same as the Trump fans.

Just a lot of acid in the air right now. I don't like Drake's music, I think he was a made star, mediocre talent propped up by the industry after his acting gig. The Drake hate is getting a little gross.

Not part of the question of this thread, but seems like an appropriate place, if any, to put a thought like this. I feel like I'm in Ghostbusters II sometimes with the oooze that feeds off the negative.

USA in general loves drama and always invests it in when it comes to pop culture. This is nothing new for a Super Bowl halftime show.

Rihhanna's pregnancy reveal, Janet Jackson's boobs... just seems like every Superbowl halftime show has that "tea".

Drama/Tea is one thing, but that stuff is not malicious. There is a bitterness, dogpile mentality that is currently going around. The Trump stuff, his fans, etc, really has me wondering/fearing about where this is all going.

Not a halftime show but this gotta be the best Super Bowl performance of all time. She just stunted on all other human beings and sang the schit out of this anthem, having fun with it, with a slick smile on her face like it was nothing. Gives chills for real. Prolly the greatest pure vocalist of all time.

Wow. She took one of the most melodically awkward songs of all time and turned it into pure music. That was impressive
