Against UTA? He scored an extra 5 points for one game. Maybe Sham should hold off on celebrating anything for a minute.

If I am SGA, I don't want this pity MVP. This will literally destroy his career as it did with Embiid. The best player in the world and actual MVP will come with vengeance and destroy the playoffs the same way he did when they robbed him back in 2023. And the media will kill him because just like with Jokic they don't like him much.

Minnesota with an impressive win against OKC. I don't know whether it was just a bad game by OKC but it showed that a mobile defense along with crashing the boards can potentially pose a lot of problems for OKC. They rarely got open looks and looked very underwhelming.

Minny didn't even shoot really well. If you told me that Edwards was gonna shoot 5-18 this game and Minny would have still blown out a fully healthy OKC team I would have called you crazy. It was just a great defensive all-round defensive effort. In today's NBA a guy like Naz Reid is really worth a ton---such a solid player all around (actually surprising to see him only get 18 and 24 minutes on average the last two seasons).

I will play the devil's advocate here... I really don't understand people's animosity towards him. I don't follow him too much but he doesn't seem like an extremely unlikeable dude (e.g. Embiid, Harden, LeBron level).

Sure, he is one of the biggest frauds ever but the amount of hatred he accumulates... I don't get it.

Bad game from OKC. Probably their worse game of the season. They looked a step slow all night. This after a back to back (which was the come from behind W against Miami with that crazy 3rd quarter) on top of 3 games in 4 nights. And this was done with T-Wolves shooting piss poor out there.

SGA just goes out and plays, he can't control the MVP votes. Everything about their team is positive, young guys, good vibes. There's nothing not to like about SGA
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

OKC will look human once they face the Lakers in the playoffs.

Nice to see the Thunder get humbled.

Naz is a beast. He needs to start.

Ironically, in this case, with us being able to compare their ability to manage Butler, build winning teams that can go far into the playoffs, and manage minutes by trusting in a bench and developing players...we might be able to compare grass to see which one is greener. Not even a knock on Thibs either. I didn't respect Spo much during the Lebron era, but he's grown into his own guy.

Thibs is a good coach in his own right, but I'd make the swap if I could.

Nothing is stopping him from doing that now, yet they are terrible and their star player is calling him out in public. Without their actual coach on the floor which was Jimmy Butler, they just flat out stink
