Rough shooting but I'll of course take it. Nice of them to not call the travel on Blackwell's dagger at the end.

This team is good. Even on off shooting nights. And knowing Tonje will make 90% of FTs is comforting.

Nice response to a couple rough calls in the second half, including that goal tend on winter. Really closed out the game well

There a reason they're not playing for another week? Not sure if that's a good or bad thing for Purdue.

Probably just a quirk in the schedule that I'm guessing every team has. As far as whether its good, the only thing I'll note is that all of their losses occurred on either 3 or 4 days rest. When they've had 5+ days off, they're undefeated. That said, even though Arizona is one of those games @ Purdue is still without a doubt more difficult than any of the previous 5.

I think they will benefit with the time off. Gard is good when he has time to game plan for a specific opponent. I still remember the game against Syracuse where he destroyed their zone by having the offense run through Hayes at the elbow. He had 10 assists that game.

I think they match up better with Purdue than they have in previous seasons just because Purdue doesn't have a giant who they run their offense and defense through but schematically still play like that with a 6'9 player assuming that role, albeit a very good 6'9 player.

But if they win, then we start having a different set of conversations. The Big Ten title is winnable, I don't think a 1 seed is attainable, but I think a 2 seed is and depending on how things shake out, a 2-seed in Milwaukee is probably more likely than not

Blackwell has been terrible in the early going.

Playing tight and throwing up some crap threes as our only offense. That's not going to get it done today.

That is a super weak ejection. Ref got hit in the nuts too many times and has a vendetta now.

That’s one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen.

Is Purdue missing anyone? Everything looks better when the 3s are falling but UW is outclassing them pretty easily right now.
