I wish RJ, Grimes, IQ, Randle etc safe travels in their new ventures and hope none of them get injured. However, I don't care if they're doing well, I only care if I can use them doing poorly against someone, that's the beauty of my battle plan. My ethos is that I want the Knicks to win their trades, and KAT severely outplaying Randle has bolstered my argument, especially when I see the subtle digs at KAT in the game threads, yet I come in here and seeing glowing reviews of Randle as though he's not having a terrible season in comparison to the last 3.
Also, trying to attribute the turn around to Randle is nasty work, we had 1 winning season and 1 lottery season with him. Brunson is the key, he would have come to this team no matter what was here because his Godfather is the President. Brunson has given us 3 winning seasons and the best Knicks team in 28 years, that is who should get the credit. Anything else is just ridiculous. Yall sound like some JV haters to me, I wont be seeing you at the 2025 Playa Haters Ball Guan0, you going soft out here.
2 lottery seasons
I was only counting the Thibs years, but you're right.

Going out soft? I've been soft since day 1. I hate for fun not cause I'm genuinely mean. I feel bad when I take that sht too far and hurt people's feelings. I know there is levels to that sht and I stay giving friendly fades. I know you're on some demon sht. I listened to that song you linked and seen the way you move. You're a true menace.
And as far as exknicks success - fck em. I truly don't gaf about their success on other teams. Especially if their success could harm the knicks. And even then if they could have stayed and helped fck em more. I'm selfish. iHart is dead to me. Though he was in a no win position. Stay and I would have been disgusted for taking less leave and he triggered my abandonment issue. So yeah fck him forever.
And yeah ofc Brunson is him. But it's not either or. Just cause Brunson is the messiah. The true savior. It doesn't discredit that Randle played a role in helping us out of the mud. He was a key component. But you haters can't give the man his flowers. And I really think it's meLos fault. If he didn't stan him Randle wouldn't be so universally hated here. All things bad lead back to meLo.

I thought you antifa Militia mountain guys were tougher than this, we have no way out of this hellhole if you're the vanguard of our movement. Here I am thinking you're going to start the revolution and you're just up on the mountain bird watching, eating shrooms and listening to Bob Marley.
It's all Brunson, all of it. We'd be a lottery team without him, because they don't trade for Hart without him and we don't have the high level impact player. He's the top 10 player we needed, and he's the guy that turned everything around, we had a winning record last season despite all the injuries solely because he was healthy. We would have been just like the Bulls if it weren't for him, if we didn't have him we'd be a team that might be a 6th to 8th play in but we'd have the same chanes of probably ending up with the 8-14th pick which is where nobody wants to be.
Yes, Melo is to blame for the Randle hate, I'm only in here right now because I see the constant attacks on our wonderful KAT and it pains me to have to come back to fight the fight that should have ended. Saying the trade was a win-win for both teams, just what? We won that trade like bandits, even if you don't like KATs defense we still have Mitch and Huk to play him with. It's like being upset you traded your Toyota Camry for a Porshce GT3 RS because the Porsche isn't as practical and trying to convince everyone else that the Camry is better cause it seats 5.
I haven’t attacked KAT in days! Great player man! Your relapse is going too far nodope!!!

Looking forward to seeing Randle come back from his injury on Minny. They were on a 5 game winning streak right when he got hurt and they fell apart ever since he went down.
It's fascinating how some things we can overlook and other things we can't. Randle had his flaws and for some around here they just couldn't let em slide. I say this with no judgement - I'm a noted rj hater.
Prolly had a lot to do with the temperamental outburst and the poor playoff performances. But in all his tenure here changed the culture of the franchise and paved the way for where we are now. I'll always be grateful for Jules. Key component in making the knicks enjoyable and successful again. All love and some jokes.
We were 166-164 with him, the Bulls were 117-112 with DeMar, they didn't need a thread like this made in their forum when DeMar was let go. They're not waxing poetic over DeMar and how he changed their culture either, and they don't have a thread like this there either. This thread is an indictment.
It's not hate, it's just confusion. We were fed steal cut oats and told it was a flavorful 5 star meal, now we're experiencing Michellin rated food and remember that the bland oats didn't taste this good.
In fairness, the steel coat oats are better than off the shelf Quaker oats.

That's a lot of what ifs. The thing is Randle took a real shtty team with Elf has his starting pg to the playoffs. He was all-nba while here. We had some good times. Those are facts. All that other what ifs and what would have happened is make believe. We were terrible when he showed up and he left us in a better place. That happened.

Derrick Rose says hello. We were not a playoff team before that trade. Saying Randle did so is simply not the telling the whole truth. He was a part of it but, not the key piece. RJ/Mitch/IQ and other young players helped that team as well but, Rose was the trade that pushed us over the losing hump. Randle was along for the ride. Then we brought in Brunson/Hart/etc. Randle went down and Brunson took us even further. He left us when we were already in a better place due to other players and trades. Then we took his salary to get to an even better place. That was his real input to our success. His play on the court was not the whole story at all. The GM did the heavy lifting.

Ofc Randle wasn't the key piece and neither was rose that would be thibs. But all you thibs haters aren't ready for that truth.

Randle has the worst playoff PER in NBA History of any player putting up 12 shot attempts.
through the fourth quarter, Randle made a layup and, as he ran back to the other end of the court, gave the sellout crowd a thumbs down as they cheered his name.
When asked after the game what message he was trying to get across to the fans, Randle didn't mince his words.
"Shut the f--- up," he said.
"Next season, Tom Thibodeau will be without his right-hand man and Scott King, the player development coach and challenge guru.
You might remember King from his Feb. 2022 altercation with Julius Randle. King, who was an assistant video coordinator, tried to show Randle something on his laptop. Randle slapped the computer, and King responded with words of his own"
"Amidst Randle's argument with the ref, his teammate, Immanuel Quickley, was trying to calm him down. Unfortunately, it led to Quickley getting yelled at by Randle.
The video clearly shows Randle taking out his frustration on Quickley at halftime. Randle is considered the leader of the team, and he certainly needs to do better to fulfill that role for the team."
Knicks’ Julius Randle not helping cause with media silent treatment
"The Knicks encouraged the press to write that the club did not make Randle available. That seems farfetched, because Randle’s media boycott has been going on too long for anyone to believe that.
That was an accumulation fine because Randle had blown off the media after eight of the past nine games".
Good riddance

No.

Edit: you are correct though, Rose knew what Thibs was trying to do and that helped get us over the hump. s much as I complain about Thibs, because people continuously push back against facts, I like the dude. He just fuq up often enough to be criticized for it. Overall though, he is part of the success we have experienced. The GM did most of the heavy lifting though and the players he brought in are awesome. This a great team with or without the HC.

Funny to be talking about truth when your solution for guys like Kawhi Leonard being injury prone is to play everyone lots of minutes...
Truth is, Thibs is a good coach, but he's gotta evolve. He can get a scrappy team to the playoffs and he can lead a scrappy team to an upset. But he needs to be the guy who can get a championship roster to the end now.

You have me confused with Dr. Kevorkian, mate
Furthermore, the mins discussion is beneath me. I don't engage in stupid arguments. Unless meLo baits me. But other than that I'm not arguing with flat earthers or any other conspiracy theorist. If someone wants to believe the human body doesn't wear down with excessive use or that the earth is flat ill let them live their life. Who am I to change the foolish.

You're diabolical. Knowing your hate is so intense you have a Randle soldier with links to sht to post is hilarious. I don't feel passionate enough about any player to have a folder or links like that. I'm just impressed.
On a sidenote I kinda want to take back the nice sht I said about randle seeing him yell at iq like that. What a jerk. Though what stands out is jHart putting his arm around iq. It let iq know he wasn't alone and got Randle to back off. Nothing but love for jHart forever.

Randle was solid but boring and unlikeable.
Robot was awful and boring and unlikeable.
MJ was great, exciting to watch and very likeable.

Two random, awful NBA players, each at 24 years old, 5th year in the league.
