That's the reality
Randle can WANT a higher contract, but until he is actually offered that somewhere, then it's 100% irrelevant information.

Again, the issue is that as great as KAT is on offense, his defense has been bad. We are used to Randle's inconsistent defense, we can work around KAT the same way BUT if Thibs whole defense is based on rim protection, then KAT makes us VERY vulnerable.


The argument for me isn't is KAT good or bad. He is a top 10 player in the league. Can he be better on the defensive end? Yes. As an MVP candidate, either he has to get better (he should be capable, and him getting his BMI down a bit would help) or he has to be schemed better (like denver does Jokic).

This is the only fan base in the world that has multiple All Star players who are MVP candidates and people think we can't win with them. It's truly mind boggling. If a HC can't win with that then maybe he's the problem. That would be the logical explanation. It's not like these guys were All Stars or MVP candidates years ago. It is currently the situation. In their prime. Playing together with All NBA defenders and another all star worthy player in Hart. If that isn't enough to win with then there's a problem. If you can't appreciate that group of players, you will never be happy with anything and, you should find a new hobby. It makes no sense at all.

You can prob make an argument for Brunson as a top 10 player somehow. KAT is in that top 15-20 range
