Tongue in cheeck. Lighten up my friend.

Your "tongue in cheek" joke is indistinguishable from the hundreds of other trade posts.

I agree with this guy you didn't add a /s or a smiley face or different color font or anything.

Admit you made a mistake learn from it & in the future add 1 of those things.

Plz/thx carry on.

I will definitely add a smiley face every single time I'm not completely serious to prevent future confusion.

Keep Yak and Barett, and our 2025 1st, have Scottie going out ?

TORONTO :
Yak
GIANNIS
INGRAM
RJ
IQ

giannis, old dame and bums work, but Scottie, Dick, Bi, Giannis, poeltl wont work...

Brook Lopez can stretch the floor, Poeltl cannot

That's not what i said.

I was just adjusting the proposed trade:

We trade Scottie, Dick, 2026 1ST, 2027,2028 pick swaps for
Giannis.

Our NEW roster:
Iq, sheed
Barrett, jakobe
INGRAM, Battle
GIANNIS, Mogbo
YAK, 2025 1ST

Too much salary?

Reality? Too much youth.

Giannis move is to win now....like championship win now. With those backups, never going to win because they all need time. It's why most championship teams are layered with vets, they just are more consistent and make less mistakes.

They need 2/3 more years of experience(the backups) and a move for Giannis now can't wait.

Side note...who would you guys target as our backup C next year assuming we don't draft a C.

Sign a cheap guy...who?
Trade a young guy like Gradey for similar upside C?
Trade Ochai for similar C?
Trade RJ in a deal to add a backup C+possible future pick?
Does it depend on the draft, where we draft($), and who we take?

Just wondering on people's thoughts.

Been saying this for a while too. It wouldn’t surprise me. Especially after we land Flagg. Flagg + Barnes has a similar if not higher ceiling than Chet +Jalen.

He will sign the big max after winning mvp. Dumb, not to do it. His team is stacked. Only gonna get better. 2 lottery picks. Not going any where.

Giannis on the other hand, if they get knocked out in the 1st round again, come back w a worse team, older, does he sign this summer? If not, do the bucks trade him at the draft. Get our top 5 pick, we give a future pick to the pelicans for bucks 2026. Give them IQ, RJ, top 5 pick, ochai, future picks.

Good start to the rebuild for the bucks to have a top 5 pick this year and favs for Peterson, Aj or boozer

Scottie, Dick, BI, Giannis, poeltl
Shead, jakobe, battle, mogbo, boucher, chomche, Blazers pick. Mid level. Way under the tax now and will be good for a while.

OKC needs to offer it to him first.

I'm not sure it is a priority, but definitely depends a lot on the draft. If we move down there is a good chance we draft a C. If we move up we need to cut salary so maybe there's a way to do that and acquire a C. Jalen Smith still makes a lot of sense, but Bulls are kinda hard to trade with.

My original post reads Shai signing with raps in FA, that assumes he doesn't extend with OKC. No trade

Agree with your comments except for not a priority. I think it's an absolute priority to have a playable C behind Yak

A backup C is important and I'm sure the FO will address it, but I do agree with bluerap that it may not be a "top" priority relative to other things.

The FO is probably focused on hitting the draft and ducking the tax first and foremost.

The scenarios you outlined are all plausible. The draft is the first domino to fall, and would really dictate the next steps afterwards. Chances are one of IQ/RJ may be shipped out to duck the tax and acquire cheaper assets.

Before Jak came the FO was content to play with no C's after Gasol and Ibaka left. I think you're asking a lot of them to have 2 centers on the roster. :D

Unless they draft some PF/C's, I would be okay with Luke Kornet. Please let Orlando Robinson go, like all the teams before us.

Orlando only if he is the 3rd C...but I guess we would have Chomche for that

The Raptors need a bare minimum of two 2nd rounders or 1 first round pick. If that can happen then the Raptors would probably be down for this trade.

If Collins opts into his PO...

Barrett for Collins + 2025 LAC 2nd + 2026 MIN/CLE 1st (basically a 2nd rounder)

Poeltl
Collins
Barnes
Ingram
IQ

The 6'9 dream would be alive again.

Day’Ron Sharpe as a UFA.
Dick for Lively.
Barrett for Mark Williams + filler.
Dick for Kessler.

Beyond the absurdity of these suggestions for trades, Sharpe is a restricted free agent and the Nets are going to match any offer he's given.

The Jazz don't own either of these teams 2026 1st, it's 25/27/29 - and the worst of the Jazz's picks are specifically owed to the Suns.

That's a bottom 8 team with almost every player playing out of position. EDIT: Moreover noone can defend the opposing PG.
