I don't know. I mean he doesn't come across as an arrogant prick like Wade, Lebron, and the Banana boat, or a lowlife like Miles Bridges or Anthony Edwards. But he's also beyond immature and doesn't put in the necessary effort to be the max player he could be but doesn't mind taking max money. That doesn't seem like great human to me
He worked extensively with charity organizations throughout Dallas.
After the mass shooting that killed eight children and a security guard at a Belgrade elementary school, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has committed to pay for the funeral services and grief counseling for classmates and staff, a spokesperson for the Luka Doncic Foundation told ESPN on Thursday.
He never had any so called incidents related to normal life like other countless players/celebrities. Has 3 dogs a daughter and a fiancee, same girl he was with since they were small kids basically.
When he was traded to LAL, he worked with his charity to help donate 500k for school and playground rebuild for kids.
He's constantly praised by his old teammates how great of a guy he is. Every Christmas he bought entire team and coaching staff presents (i guess Nico didn't get his times time) and also takes time for fans to sign autographs, specially when they wait for him for hours.
Everyone knows Jokic is a great guy on and off the court and they're best friends. I'm sure Jokic wouldn't hang out with someone who's an **** or simply a bad person.
And that's just very few things to name. For us who get more of his news here in Slovenia, we know exactly who he is. Nico and Dumont say he is a fat alcoholic who brings bad culture to the team... i guess when you repeat the same lie over and over again, it could become truth to some. (Not saying you believe that, but others might).
Yeah, I love this answer. Luka always did things the right way. I've seen nothing to indicate he isn't a great guy so weird to be challenged on it by a Mavs fan who I assume was following Luka like we all were.
Slovenia is a beautiful country, I went there last year to Ljubljana and Bled. Surprised it's not more of a tourist destination.
I challenged it because there's really no excuse for a multi millionaire athlete to constantly be out of shape. He has copious amounts of money to hire cooks trainers etc. It's a lack of discipline, which is a character flaw. Being 25 isn't an excuse. If a 25 year old employee in another sector didn't put in the time and effort to do his job, he'd be reprimanded
