Read on Twitter

Teams that can single-cover Tatum with guys that can fight through screens or not have to switch then stay home on everyone else might still be our biggest challenge.

Another game winner from unclutch Tatum and another MVP where he was robbed. I wonder how far he can push his streak of being the best player in the floor for the winning team and not win MVP before the media catches up to the fact that Tatum can in fact ball.

Has anyone asked Jayson how he feels about Jaylen declaring himself team captain?

JT can just say "that's ok because my contract says I'll be making more money than JB for the next 4 seasons" :D

JT makes it look easy.

He led the OG's in scoring but was overshadowed by Steph's amazing shots.

I think JT started scoring 11 pts and that gave his team a cushion.

We just won a title off of stuff like this but apparently it's still "an underrated part of his game"

I would translate that as "people are still hyperfocusing on the other parts of his game that are admittedly weak/mediocre, like his scoring efficiency and shot selection while ignoring the most impactful aspects." His gravity and unselfishness alone makes the Celtics a more dangerous team.

Read on Twitter

Tatum would be the only one of those five players that has also won an Olympic Gold Medal before turning 27, let alone two gold medals.

JT first player to hit 1,500 3s before age 27 and 28.

Even Steph couldn't do it.

Still think JT going after Steph's record for 3s made is silly?

… yes? If you double Tatum’s 3PM and pretend he’s at year 16 instead of 8, he’s still more than 1000 behind Steph.

JT's previous high of 3s made was back in 2023, when he made 240 3s that season.

This season he's on pace for 280 made 3s.
He's averaging 3.6 3s made per game, so with 22 games remaining that's 3.6 x 22 = 79.2

If he misses a couple more games then that's around 270+.

If JT plays until the age of 37, that's 10 more seasons after this season.

So if JT averages 270 3s made per season until 2035, that's 2700 3s made.
1500 + 2700 = 4200

Not a guarantee, but certainly a possibility.
