Was hesitant to lean into picking Philly outright but game is playing out the way my head thought it would.....Eagles too physically dominant in the trenches.

For the people who think its all about hate and divide, this is what people were voting for, transparency.

Don't care what side of the aisle you're on, if you are against government corruption this is a must watch, the whole thing.

Got through the first two hrs, which was not easy, I generally don't mess with Joe Rogan because he doesn't really seem like a cool dude from all that I heard from and about him but tried to be objective and listen (no ones objective, definitely not me, but tried)

Can tell after the first 15-30 minutes that everything he was talking about were either half-truths or bs. The Trans Gender Monkeys is on the nose for all the conspiracy theory stuff Joe Rogan usually pedals. All this based on a report created by Rand Paul, of all the corrupt hacks that exist in the world.

Mike Benz, this guy is a bigot at worse and scammer at best. His 'expertise' is spending less than two months in the Trump White House and people are supposed to take him seriously because of it?

Rogan, Benz, Musk, Trump are scammers. Some of them career scammers. I can't tell you what to think or believe, but please take some moments and reconsider some of these things and ideas be spread by the aforementioned, as a lot of them are dangerous.

The ad hominem attack is noted, but most of this stuff is factual and documented (and he's explicit anytime in the interview he's posing his own theories), so you can shoot the messenger if you'd like but the message and information still exists. Also politifact is literally paid by usaid, as were several other liberal news networks including the BBC over in the UK, this was all in the audit, so I'm not really good with that as a source for anything debunking the misuse of government funds through usaid.

The focus on the trans gender monkeys gets headlines but ignores what a lot of the worst misuses of funds were. Its also reminiscent of how mainstream media tries to discredit anything that veers outside their own personal overton window, you signal boost the craziest parts (like flat earthers when it comes to conspiracy theorists, or Terrence Howard with his math garbage), then paint everything outside of the official narrative with the same brush. "Oh you think there's more to the JFK assassination? You must be one of those flat earthers, what a nutcase".

It's also not at all surprising that the very entities that were profiting off a government slush fund are vehemently attacking anyone pointing this out. But notice they can't say anything about the audit, everything is personal attacks, this guy is a bigot, Elon Musk is evil etc. Or pretending usaid is some sort of foreign aid program, when the AID stands for "agency for international development", they literally tell you its about soft power plays, but the media is pretending its about the 5-10% that goes to actual aid organizations, most of which is laundered and never used for the things its purported to be for in the first place anyways.

You know it's about "transparency" when the guy they elected has been hiding his tax returns and medical records for decades. God only knows what that barbecue colored spray tan is covering up. And there's no need to discuss the mountain of "non-disclosure agreements" he forces people to sign. You know it's about transparency when that same guy is having meetings with Putin and no other Americans are allowed in the room.

A guy convicted of fraud, appointing another guy who is operating several frauds at once, to discover "fraud" in the government.

Ignore all the racists, misogynists, homophobes, and transphobes, in the administration. It's really about transparency ... this week. Next week it will be about something else. But it definitely won't be the racism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia.

Sure some of it may be misused. But a lot of the money in USAID does good in 3rd world countries. But regardless even if you completely stop the 50 billion of USAID budget and fire every federal employee, that won't change much to the deficit.

This is all smoke and mirrors. It does nothing. The biggest drivers of the deficit are the Trump tax cut mostly to the rich and corporations, social security, Medicare and defense spending. If you are not touching those 4, you are never balancing the deficit. Raising taxes on the rich and corporations to help reduce the deficit seems the easiest one to do. But Republicans never do and republican voters don't care but cry about corporate influence. Then the next one is defense.

And if we are talking about transparency and accountability, republicans are the worst at it. The biggest problem in US democracy is you need a ton of money to run. So either you are part of the party machinery or you are a billionaire or you sell your soul to donors. And this was made worse by the conservative supreme court which removed the limits corporations and individual can spend on super pacs in elections. So now you have Elon Musk you run the republican party because he can threaten to spend billions to sponsor primary challenges to any congressman or senator who doesn't vote the way he wants. So how is that democracy ?

If you really wanted a democratic USA. You would need to undo the supreme court decision and limit how much an individual or corporation can donate. You would introduce term limits for everyone, senators, supreme court justices. You would mark public the tax returns for anyone running for federal office. And you would get rid of the electoral college and have a direct election. As long as their is an electoral college the two parties will have monopolies on the system.

But I don't see anyone on the right championing any of these ideas. The only person who talks about is Bernie Sanders. And I'm not his biggest fan. All we got from the right are conspiracies but they're not going after what would actually make a difference is which limiting corporate power. In fact the opposite. 3 of the richest men in the world were front row for the inauguration. The richest man in the world who isn't a born citizen has been given complete access to the US government. He hasn't been vetted or approved by congress but he has the power to unilaterally fire anyone in employment and control how federal money is spent while also being CEO of multi billion corporations. Yet the right sees no problem with this.

So Trump Musk go on and fire regular working class employees and give your buddies tax cuts. That will fire your base while the rich get richer

https://www.dailybreeze.com/2025/02/18/state-department-halts-plan-to-buy-400m-worth-of-armored-vehicles-from-tesla/

State Dept. Plans $400 Million Purchase of Armored Tesla Cybertrucks

While it was in its planning phases, the deal with Tesla was forecast to be the largest contract of the year. It shows how some of his wealth has come and was still expected to come from taxpayers before the plans were put on hold. His companies obtain hundreds of millions of dollars each year in contracts. SpaceX has secured nearly $20 billion in federal funds since 2008 to ferry astronauts and satellites into space.

Something something misuse of government funds. Something something corruption. Something something slush fund and money laundering.

But on X, the social media platform Musk owns, he wrote Feb. 13, "I’m pretty sure Tesla isn’t getting $400M. No one mentioned it to me, at least."

In a statement to PolitiFact, the State Department confirmed Tesla isn’t in store for that money. The department said the Biden administration had pursued the possible purchase. Biden had signed an executive order in 2021 encouraging government agencies to buy electric vehicles when possible.

The department also said that specifying "Tesla" in the spreadsheet was an error. The statement said that only one company had responded to the offering, and that was Tesla, but that the spreadsheet should have cited a generic electric vehicle manufacturer rather than Tesla specifically, since it was open to any company. It described the bid solicitation as being on hold, with "no current plans to issue it."

The social security numbers with people over 120 years old and way older that musk found is funny. I checked Snopes on it and their highlight about it is
While an audit published in 2023 found that the central Social Security database, known as the Numident, does include 18.9 million people born before 1920 who do not have death information on record — making them more than 100 years old if alive — only 44,000 of them were receiving Social Security Administration (SSA) payments.

It's funny because that's a huge chunk of the pool that scammers get CPNs from

The problem w the govt and a lot of public institutions is they still use old technology. Like COBOL computer programs and fax machines.
I could imagine old govt workers still sitting in their office smoking w an ashtray on their desks and staring at the green screen of that big tube monitors, lol

Usaid is just a laundering facility for Democrats and rino Republicans. Ukraine war also another way to launder money for politicos. Think Harris and waltz would of stopped Ukraine war and negotiated peace? I am all for whoever uncovers fraud and corruption. Next up department of education. Did you know only 9% of budget of department of education actually goes to students k-12. Where does the other 90% of $238billion go? This exposure would of never happened if Harris/Democrats won election.

People want live in their own fantasy reality instead of accepting the truth as is. If you don't want to help Ukraine that fine. But don't pretend they're not at war. They're being invaded by a superior arm, their economy is in tatters. They've lost significant territory. Aid from US and Europe is the only reason they have not fallen. And most of the money given its not money. Most of its arm from US inventory. The money then gets spent to replace the inventory spent.
On education here an article where money goes https://www.newsweek.com/map-shows-states-most-federal-education-funding-2026257
Eliminate it and a lot of states will have huge deficits for their school programs. US used to be a leader in education but they're falling behind because one party absolutely demonises any investment in education. In terms of exam scores, STEM graduates US has fallen behind east Asia countries. I dont hear any proposals from Republicans how to make Education in the US better. Its all cut department of Education. Cut it then what. How do states makes up the shortfall. And again like in every single republican proposal its poor people who will suffer. Schools in rich and middle class districts will be fine. But schools in poor districts who need the funding won't be.
And again my point remains. If you want to start on corruption. You need to start with corporations. Anything else is BS. And republican voters fall for it.
If Trump and Musk came out and said, we will work to eliminate corporate subsidies, limit corporate donations to politicians, eliminate corporate tax loopholes, make sure corporations pay tax at same level as other countries then I'd take them seriously on the other stuff. But they don't look at the rich or corporations. They look at stuff that affects poor and middle class and make balooney about it and Republican voters just eat it. Musk was on TV next to Trump admitting he lied on the 50 mil Gaza condoms. Why should I trust anything else he says

If you are not touching those 4, you are never balancing the deficit. Raising taxes on the rich and corporations to help reduce the deficit seems the easiest one to do. But Republicans never do and republican voters don't care but cry about corporate influence. Then the next one is defense.

Oreon, I see things a different way here. It’s important to note though in policy debates between friends it’s not matter of right or wrong though, it’s about education. So let me share my perspective.

1) One of the biggest expenditures in the federal budget right now is interest on the federal debt. $1.2 trillion. This surpasses defense spending and medicare. Source below. If it aint brought down, we are in major trouble. DOGE is one mechanism with which to bring down this spending and yes it needs to be done line by line.

2) While tax cuts for wealthy individuals definitely adds to the national debt, the Trump administration has picked people for his cabinet that are pursuing America first policies to not only make up the gap, but encourage investment in America to increase the tax base. One example is tax loopholes in Ireland. Howard Lutnik is Trump’s commerce secretary and has stated he wants to get rid of tax shelters in Ireland. I would much rather have taxable income in the US than a budget surplus in Ireland. Scott Bessent, Trump’s Treasury secretary also wrote “America First!” in the visitor log at Shannon Airport because he also wants to shut those loopholes down. Sources below.

Just wanted to note these two discission points out. Politics is a divisive game, but it’s not all one side is wholly bad and one side fully good. There’s a lot of grey.

Yes Bishop...those 4 guys are probably scammers some of them life long and some of them are very good...but I have a suggestion... Don't fear them, They're not "dangerous"... because they can ultimately do no bad.

They are on blah blah.
Like all scammers are.

No, I think dangerous is the right word. Over a million deaths to COVID alone, not to mention all the damage dangerous policies from the previous Trump administration to this current one will cause.

Trust them when they tell you that is who they are

Trump Media company and Trump coins. He's already better positioned himself to pocket billions from this term.

Something something slush fund and money laundering.

https://www.wral.com/story/fact-check-is-the-state-department-about-to-pay-tesla-400-million-for-cybertrucks/21860274/

So you were able to find an article of Must himself denying the plan to misappropriate funds (who woulda thunk?!?) for his **** garbage dumpster on wheels. But you were not able to find the articles that specifically talk about the so called 18.9 million people over 120 years old actually being the result of a well known coding principle and not actually being 18.9 million people over that age? This is something that Must and his 17 year old hacker squad would know if they were even semi-decent at what they're doing.
