MDB, get your popcorn ready. Betnijah is lacing them up for the....uh...Laces...tonight.

The reason sucks (entire Laces roster still hurt), but we all need more BLH in our lives.

And what an opportunity for Kiki Jefferson.

3rd round pick, then waived by the Lynx. But tonight, she's on national TV facing the likes of Sabrina, Griner, and Satou. She's guaranteed some run because the Laces still only have 4 players suiting up.

A lot of W teams need some guard help right now.

As fun as this league has been, it wouldn't get any better than BLH and Kiki going bonkers tonight and pulling out a miraculous W.

Rose-Vinyl was fantastic. I think these might be my 2 favorite teams.
Vinyl couldn't buy a bucket in the 1st, but clawed back valiantly. 1st with Rhyne, then Hamby got going.

Rose are a fun team all around, but man, Chelsea Gray just seems like she's on a mission.
She missed basically the entire 3rd with a mystery injury, but came back to dominate the 4th just like she did the 1st.

Buckets was HOT about the lack of camera angles to overturn that foul (and I think she was right, but no way to confirm).
Certainly can't blame a start up league for not having all the camera angles.

I apologize for saying this would be a miraculous win. Any team with McBride and BLH always has a great chance.

No Kah. No Azura.
It would be a massive upset for anybody to beat the Lunar Owls.

But if the Rose were to do it tonight, that would be something.

There's basically no chance it could happen but the Rose don't seem to be backing down.

I'm sure Phee is about to just shut this all down, but man it really feels like the Rose have something cooking against all odds.

It took injuries to get us here, but absolutely loving this extended run of a Chelsea, Slim, Angel lineup. So damn fun

And Phee? 3 quick early fouls. Sits on the bench watching the other team go absolutely bonkers. Angel is peaky as hell. Team basically has first place locked up and she just spent last week dominating the 1v1 tournament. I would think a lot of stars in a lot of leagues might just pack this one in.

But Phee is fighting like hell

I don't know how this game is going to wind up, but it seems like it's going to be a classic.

What a game.

Bad as the Aces off-season seemed, a team with a healthy, pissed off Chelsea Gray is going to be incredibly dangerous.

Angel has a lot of work to do, but this was everything you hope to see from her. Not just the 20-20, but she went toe to toe with the best in the world and she held her own.

Aside from Aaliyah Edwards, another young player that just looks so much more confident is Rae Burrell. Her energy and athleticism just jumps off the screen. Rhyne and Dearica carried the scoring load most of the night, but Rae shut the door in the 4th.

Big win for the Vinyl.

Last night was an encouraging night for Sky fans all-around. Sloot was carving them up.

Vinyl-Laces was such an awesome game.

Despite the loss, a healthy Laces team is probably has the best chance against the Owls. AT and Jackie still seemed to be limited on minutes, but they just took over when out there.

But the Vinyl somehow held on. Hamby and Rhyne are one of the best duos in Unrivaled. Canada came up big.

I don't want to say it, but I will. I think the Vinyl might be better with no Arike. I love Arike, but her and Rhyne are pretty redundant. Rae Burrell and Aaliyah Boston are crucial to this team, and the team does better when they can get some solid minutes.

Hamby with one streaky volume shooter and some solid role players is a fantastic mix. 2 streaky volume shooters makes for some difficult rotation decisions.

Huge final night of the regular season. Vinyl and Mist still vying for the last playoff spot.

I don't know what their goals were for the league but it seems like a huge success to me. A lot of young players developing. Product is incredibly fun.

This league represents everything I love about women's basketball. They wanted to make some more money and not have to go overseas in the off-season to do it, so they took matters into their own hands.

You got to love them taking a chance and betting on themselves.

Phee is just not fair. This game shouldn't even matter to them. But Phee is playing basketball so she's going to whip your ass.

Same for Skyler and Allisha.

Sackmann is going to get a job out of this, and good for him.

But when you have Phee, Skylar, and Allisha..... Just throw the clipboard down. They got this

Phee has to be the MVP, but man Chelsea Gray makes a strong case.

On paper, the Rose really have no business being the #2 team in the league. Although, the Laces surely would have been if they were healthy (AT was looking like a solid #2 MVP candidate when she was healthy).

But man, Chelsea looks so good. I've mostly hated everything the Aces have done this off-season, but I might be about to buy some stock. Betting against a team with A'ja and a healthy, pissed off Chelsea Gray doesn't seem like a good idea.

I'm really shocked that Stewie's team didn't make the playoffs.

It's going to be interesting to see how much, if anything, this ends up saying about her aging in the W.

Chelsea Gray made all Unrivaled first team. Not a shock, but in terms of the W, Vegas will be a problem now that she's back to her old self.

All hail Chelsea!

Excited for the Rose and Vinyl. But I can't help but be so pissed off for Phee. With all due respect to A'ja, since the Olympic break, Phee has been the best women's basketball player in the world. Between Game 5 of the W Finals and this. Just brutal. I thought that was a clean block on Hamby.

But good for the Vinyl and Rose. I doubt a lot of people picked them to be in the Finals. Jordin Canada was a beast. And so excited for my girl Hamby. How can you not love this woman.
