Listening to Men in Blazers.

Amorim didn't want to take over in November but the club pushed him. He was wary about being tainted with the mess. HE would have preferred to take over AFTER some of the roster was cleaned up, certain players culled.

So towards the end of next season, he may be blamed for not turning it around and may be dumped after 1 full season.

I mean so many different angles.

1.)Firing TenHag after last season. Hire Amorin

2.) Ride with Ten Hag for season.

3.) Keep Ruud rest of season and bring Amorin later in summer.

I think they wanted to make sure Amorin came and started to weed out players and install a system. TenHag had no system.

This is the result of the Glazers and 10 years of bad business. Our transfer history as of late is horrible. We just have overpaid lazy players who are just crap.

0% they dump him after half a season. He will get at least 1 full season before they do that.

Are you all still confident in Amorim?

From Sky:
"People are looking at this Europa League as the unique competition that we can win. Also the connection with winning Europa League with [qualifying for the] #UCL.

"But to tell you the truth, I think we have bigger things to think. I know it's strange to say that, but it's something that we are trying to build here, that is going to be more important than winning a Cup in this moment.

"I know the responsibility that we have to fight for every trophy, but in this moment we are trying to build something that is going to last more than any trophy this season."

What is even on about? United is already out of the domestic cups. Finishing in the top-6 for Europe next season is also not in the cards. The only thing left is EL. And he's saying it's not the priority? Does he not realize the money for being in CL would significantly boost his transfer possibilities this summer?

Someone want to explain to me how Manchester United nearly ran out of money this Christmas, per Ratcliffe, only to turn around a day later and state their building a new stadium...

Poor timing yes but there will be money. If we all chip in $1 it will feed United hungry stadium.

By the way, that Ratcliffe interview likely did more harm than good in the eyes of supporters. His reasoning as to why he not only kept Ten Hag but also spent big on transfers for him... yowsers.

He then goes on trying to justify Amorim in the strangest of ways, using the salary bill he has available to him. Ratcliffe uses Nottingham Forest, of all clubs, as the comparison. Does he not realize Forest are currently sitting third overall.

So ticket prices go way up in new stadiums?

Do they load up luxury suites like new NFL stadiums do?

They probably will build it with plans to host some NFL games.

We need a striker and a new goalkeeper. This team is so bad right now. I've never witness United this terrible in my life.

Cunha, Delap and Trafford would solve 3 areas.

Then go out and get a few midfielders.

Nice win today. Gotta win next game against Athletic Club to make sure to reach the final. I really want us to make Champions League next year. Too bad Tottenham also won. We haven’t played well against them.

Looks like United also signed Enzo Kana-Biyik an 18 year old striker. I’m loving these youth signings. If they don’t make it with the main roster, the team can sell them.

Harry Mcguire the winger will take us there. Not sure who is better. Williams brothers or him.

It's so awesome that he's unironically United's best option in all of the front 3 positions.
It's time for 5 refs.
