It's coming down to the wire now. When do we see Mitch play? Is OG ready to come back? What do we do with the last roster spot? What is Delon Wright doing here? Can this team take another step this season? These are the only questions left this year. What will we look like over the last 2 months?

The early season hype that this team was getting has since died down. Are we flying under the radar or are we simply not good enough to make a run? Luka to the Lakers is generating buzz. Butler to GSW and Draymond talking about winning again has created some buzz. The Nuggets will be in the discussion because of Jokic. The top 3 teams have been getting buzz all season. The Knicks are not getting any love at this point. Seems like people have moved away from talking about the Knicks as a contender.

We have 28 games left to see what we are all about come playoff time. Let's fuggin gooooo!

Ofcourse. Adding Mitch Robinson to the Knicks, is almost like adding Ja Morant to the Magic. You address the biggest need with the best available solution. Mitch is going to boost us exponentially.

I like that they dont talk about us. Let them sleep. None of the other top 4 teams are adding a Mitch Robinson, a rested OG, and TJ Warren.

Lakers with Luka just lost to the Jazz and Luka is putting up pedestrian numbers GSW are going nowhere even with Butler. We whipped up on the Nuggets twice. ...

We dont need love we need to bulletin board material.

I don't disagree with his thoughts. Knicks are a Tier B team on at 3-4 year window. They're not at the levels of OKC, Boston, and Cleveland. That narrative could change if they can pull some real wins against them, but every one of these teams have exploited the weaknesses we see.

Yeah. We can't just cut Delon and add Okeke and Warren. We can only add ONE vet minimum player after March first. Everyone else is paid for the year gtd money and one vet mini will put us right up against the apron. We cannot go over that apron this year. Unless Wright is in a non gtd deal....

Those were mostly rhetorical questions but, cool that you answered them. :lol:

I am still excited to see just how far this team goes but, we need to be fully healthy first and go from there. The team has been steadily improving this season and we are getting an important piece back that changes the entire dynamic of the team. We can also add a vet mini in 9 days as well. So there are still ways to improve our team before the season ends.

I too am glad the media dropped the hype machine noise surrounding the team. It always gives you that edge of having a slight chip on your shoulder. Let them sleep on us. I still feel a reason to believe it could happen this season if everything falls into place. What more can a fan ask for? Especially a Knicks fan? :lol:

28 games to go. We are as close to being a contender as we have been in decades. I'm loving it.

Absolutely.

This is not a championship team.

They need to make moves in the offseason again to make sure it becomes a championship team.

Not sure what they're able to do since they have limited assets but they need to keep building. This is not a finished product.
