Absolutely- Trader Joe was on point for a few years there. Drafter Joe with one noteworthy exception was another matter.
What was the exception? I thought Stuckey was a pretty good pick considering how it felt a bit out of left field at the time. Tayshaun was a pretty good pick I thought also.
Tayshaun was the exception- getting him at 23 was an absolute steal.
Stuckey was middling. Decent volume stats and was solid at protecting the ball, but he never developed a go-to offensive move and never became a good shooter or efficient scorer. His overall playmaking was never better than okay.
Before Cade the last player we drafted who became an all star with us was Andre Drummond, who in retrospect IMO never should have been an All-Star. Before that it was Grant Hill- drafted in 1994.
