Guys like him are why I want an early 2nd. I think the 1st half of the 2nd round this year is going to have a couple of big time gems. I would not be surprised to see him sneak into the back of the 1st though. Also wonder if he transfers to a bigger school and tries to raise his stock if he gets the feeling he will only be a 2nd rounder.

I doubt he stays in school. Already 22 years old.

There really isn’t anything he can’t do on the court. Was the American Conference DPOY last year and this year averaging 18 PPG 11 RPG 4APG 2BPG 2SPG on 56% shooting 34% from 3 76% from the line.

Somebody is gonna get a steal and a guy who can play and guard multiple positions.

Agree I like him quite a bit. 3 point shot is a question, but the form looks solid, I think he can get to competent level there on spot ups.

I guess on him staying in school you are probably right especially if he gets 1st round buzz. You just never know with NIL money these days though, a big school could offer him a ton of money and I think he has one year of eligibility left.

My vote is to trade up for the Magic. There are a lot of top talents on top of the draft board.

Everyone knows Magic needs a PG and someone who can shoot 3s well. Well, this dude is a top 5 pick.

We can trade two of our FRPs plus more assets to move up and grab him, making him the young core along Franz, Paolo and Suggs. He will be on Rookie contract. So our cap should be good.

Anyway, if we indeed have two FRPs outside lottery, adding some piece and move up won't be that bad. My opinion
Move up? This weltman we talking about

Zvonimir is a good fit. Stretch big to open the lane for Paolo and block shots like Goga.

Yes.. he has the makings of a Magic player.

One game he goes 5-8 from 3pt land, and the next game he went 0-9.

I have a feeling we're going to end up with Mike Miller's new client, Jeremiah Fears.

He's 18, so he'll probably ride the bench for a couple of seasons.

Man, Magic need to find a guy like Pritchard. His numbers have been crazy consistent since he joined the league and now he’s having a breakout season for them. He was an older rookie so he went late in the first round.

Any senior PGs who have a comparable profile to him as gun shooters?

Off a quick and lazy search, I like the look of this name and can’t seem him mocked in either 1st or 2nd round:

Ryan Nembhard (Gonzaga) - leading NCAA in assists, shooting 40% from 3 on low volume. Senior.

Kam Jones would probably be the closest thing though he isn't the shooter Pritchard is. Projected late 1st area as well. He has not shot the 3 well this year, but is 37% for his career.

Xavian Lee (Junior) would be like the bargain bin late 2nd swing at a Pritchard type.

Just realized the Magic get the Memphis or Boston 2RP, which ever is WORSE. This is whatever the opposite of tanking is.

Orlando seem certain to not draft higher than 57 with this pick!

Broome and Fears had monster games yesterday against solid teams.

Chaz Lanier maybe the best shooter in the draft had 30 on 8 3s. Probably more in the Seth Curry mold of a shooter and little else, but in the 2nd he could be a fun guy to come off the bench with AB.

And quickly becoming one of my favorite 2nd round targets-- Max Shulga. 22 on 9 shots and 8-8 from the line yesterday. Do it all 5th year player for VCU. 40% from 3 in his college career. Can shoot it, handle it a bit, pass it, 2 offensive boards a game this year, 2 steals. Just looks like a winner to me. Becoming one of my favorite potential picks in the 2nd.

Honestly If it was possible I would move Paolo for the first pick for flagg. He'd fit better with Franz

Im an Auburn fan and Broome is a 5th year flake/choker
In a 10 point game with like 2 min left he missed 4 free throws in a row.
He doesn’t have a winning attitude.
His attitude seems surly / slow.
If we arent drafting a point guard we need someone who brings mental energy like Moritz Wagner or Jalen Suggs

Yes...we'll get him in with our shooting coach and develop him like we've done with the rest of the squad :o

Jase Richardson on at 1:30 and Danny Wolf on at 3:45 as well. Two guys I expect the Magic will strongly consider.

Jase for those who want a potential lead guard that can shoot it extremely well. Should be a top target with our potential lottery pick.
