Sure, this would be a useful skill if and when cars are ever part of NBA games. But, otherwise, meh?

Seriously all of his dunks are the same. Someone holds the ball, he jumps over them grabs the ball and then moves the ball around and dunks it. I liked Castles last dunk the best

He almost made it out of camp as the GSW 3rd string PG a few years ago, but then that guy from UVA (on the Cavs now) became available instead.

That guy was very nearly a 50/40/90 player for us and is topping those numbers with the Cavs.

I see what you did there in response to McClung being called a carnival midget clown. Clever.

Don't want to be the old man yelling at clouds, because Mac is a great dunker... but he sorta cheats on every dunk. Every single one he has someone stabilize their arms on their head and brace for a bit of impact, and he never scoops the ball from them, he pushes down on the ball to get a little more lift, then bring the ball up for his dunk. Not a big deal because like I said the kid can fly... but it's a clever little hack he uses that nobody seems to care or notice.

I liked that Castle just grabbed a ball and went and did pretty insane dunks on his own. Him and Mac made it a really fun contest.

no, he's not a legit NBA player.... he has Jimmer Fredette-level defense, cant playmaker, not a good enough shooter... he needs to play overseas for a while and maybe in a few years he can try again... if not he can take a page out of Freddete's career and ball out in China...

Didn't watch much of it but had a lot of fun riding my bike around the city and taking in some of the all-star related events.

Clown show but still, McClung is pretty cool. And even as a fringe NBA player, still better than 99.99% of basketball players on the planet.

I feel like the regular season is 1 long all star weekend these days. The actual all star weekend is less entertaining than watching a 90 year old man mow a acreage lawn with scissors. The NBA is slowly descending into a flaccid version of the Harlem globe trotters.

To the point of this thread, that midget clown has some weird ass DNA. How the eff can he leap like that in the body of a drunk leprechaun? He needs to be studied, full clinical trial like.

Yeah I don't know what it is but the league is just boring now

**** reffing, ads everywhere, 3-point everything, players becoming divas who don't care about competing

Players jumping around is also ruining everything. no more legendary dynastic battles like early 2000s lakers vs spurs

I watched the 4 nations face-off and it was more exciting than any basketball i've watched in the last decade

You didn't find any of our championship runs entertaining at all? I mean I hear you with the general sentiment but all 4 of our chips happened in the last decade didn't they?

I enjoyed the early parts... '15 and '16. After we got Durant there were some fun moments like the battles with the Rockets, but steamrolling people wasn't fun. i like good competitive basketball and intense games... not a ton of those in the durant era

IMO Heatles era was the last time playoffs were fun across the board. those Bulls/Bucks battles, heat/pacers, rising OKC, the Mavs run, heat/spurs, even aging Lakers last push etc.

hate to say it but we made the league less interesting now that everyone is just bombing 3s

The splash brothers effect on the league is certainly a weird phenomenon. Instead of it being a 1-off time for a team to have some unique players that made that work, the entire league has now shaped itself around the 3 ball spam, which has made it a completely different product now.
