He can't put up numbers in the G-League while Toppin has scored more than 30 several times. Prepare for disappointment.

French guys gotta gain momentum on their aggression

Just want to see him contribute. There’s many guys we could have got but we was all in on Towns and Bridges early with all the restrictions.

He's a top 3 player, money is money and they didn't want to give him a supermax. The Grizz may explore moving JA this summer, you really need to look at what the second apron does.

Rozier gave them 17ppg in the playoffs, while making $1.98 million, he outplayed his contract and guys who were making 7-10x as much as him. You can't find any PG to give you that on less than $2 million per season, Mudiay was making $4.2 million his best year with us, Burks made $6 million and $10 million with us, and didn't average 17ppg. With the new rules, everyone they sign is basically doubled.

I'll say it again, the Celtics are going to have a payroll around $225-250 million next season, their luxury tax bill is going to be MORE than their salary. They are going to be a roster that costs half a billion next season. The Warriors used to talk about how they weren't affraid to spend with the previous luxury tax, and they quieted up real quick and made a lot of cost saving moves since then. And most importantly, **** the Celtics.

Well clearly Luka hasn’t looked like a top 3 player with the Lakers. Everything Nico said about his conditioning was true and it’s showing on the court. You’re ignoring the context on why they traded him to say they moved him only cause the CBA which isn’t true. Nico, Shams, Marc stein all said the main reason they moved Luka was cause of his awful conditioning, lack of defense, nothing about the CBA.

Rozier gave them empty calories in the playoffs. Celtics fans hated him because he was taking shots away from Tatum and Brown. He was playing hero ball jacking up shots with bad defense. Mudiay averaged 15 PPG for us. Alec Burks just gave us 15 PPG in the playoffs. That’s similar production that Rozier gave them. You can find gunners anywhere for cheap. That won’t be an issue for Boston. I’m all for seeing Boston fail and would love to steal Tatum/Brown from them but I just don’t see them falling apart anytime soon man.

They literally said they don't want to give him a supermax, because tying up money now is dangerous. This is America, this is Captialism, money is the root cause of everything. And saying he doesn't look like a top 3 player after 3 games and missing 2 months is crazy work.

Rozier made less than $2 million, he was +1.2 net rating for the 19 games in the playoffs. You can name anyone you want, you're going to be hard pressed to find someone making $1.9 million, being net positive and scoring 17ppg. Burks made 5x as much as Rozier and was net negative in the playoffs for us, Mudiay made 2x as much as Rozier and was net negative. Once again, this would be like Kolek, Pac or Huk dropping 16ppg for us in the playoffs, it would be such a massive boost that it's extremely rare for a player to outplay their contract like that. We're trying to get them to be rotational players, and you're trying to say a guy making $1.9 million and outplaying guys making much more than him sucked, it's wild. It's found money when a guy can do that, it's why value deal players are so important.

The second apron is going to make it punitive to have teams like the Celtics. They're going to be the most expensive team in American sports history next season, they're going to be spending double what NFL teams spend for a 53 man roster  That isn't sustainable and that's how it's meant to be. Again, **** The Celtics.

Man he averaged 16 PPG shooting 40% from the field. You can find anyone to do that  I'm not sure why you want to die on this Rozier hill when Boston fans didn't even enjoy him.

The Mavs never said they didn't want to give him a supermax because of the CBA risks. Show me where they said that.

The Celtics just locked up Derrick White, Payton Pritchard on 4 year extensions this summer. Boston isn't going anywhere for a while.

Everyone here is a homer, you were a homer when we had the player you liked. You're a homer still, you can deny it but anybody that spends time posting on a team themed board and has used the word "we" when describing a team is a homer, you're one of us, you're part of the system. We've always had a losing record vs .500 or better team, that's just a feature of your coach through 5 seasons, are you now saying we have a coaching problem as well? Team Villain is just 1 man, it's over brother, time to let go. You had a nice little run, but it's 2025 and Terror squad and Dipset are dead now too. You're waiting on sham to come back, and all he's gonna do is stan Mitch in his happy little corner. It's over.

Image

I wasn’t a homer for all the 5 years Randle was here. I only became a homer after last year in January. That was the first time since 2013 I felt like we had a legit chance to do something special. Over 10 years bro.

Team villian is multiple people. We don’t need to post all the time.

Team h0mer is looking like the Drake stans after he dropped push ups and that AI song with Pac. Thinking you won before you’re inevitably faced with harsh reality.

Image

You talking about us being fake contenders, while thinking last Jan we were a real contender? Brother, what?

Team Villain is just 1 person, that's it, nobody repping the flag anymore. Gang task force hit yall hard. And we did win, we got rid of Randle.

Image

We're 0-5 against Boston, Cleveland and OKC. That's the definition of a fake contender. At least last year we were able to beat the top 3 teams of each conference. Last year's team was way more balanced on both ends. This team is trash on defense like some of us told you it would be in the off season.

Team H0mer is going out sad. It's like that small group of Drake stans on twitter that are still trying to defend him and everyone laughs at them for being delusional.

POSTING AND TOASTING

Antonio Losada is a computer scientist with an MS in Artificial Intelligence who decided to throw away a career in Academia to blog about the Knicks at P&T and successfully survived the sophomore slump solidifying himself as a bonafide starter.

The Knicks are back and so will soon be both OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson, according to the one and only Tom Thibodeau.

Life's about balance, however, so karma hit New York in the mouth with Josh Hart popping up on the injury report with an OUT designation for tonight's matchup against the Bulls at MSG. Sheesh.

Here’s what Coach Thibs and a few Knickerbockers had to say coming off the break and ahead of Thursday’s game.

Tom Thibodeau
Read on Twitter

00:00

02:00

On Mitchell Robinson and OG Anunoby going through a full practice on Wednesday:

“Mitch was good, OG was good. So it was good to be back out there. [They] did everything.”

On Robinson’s potential return for Thursday’s game:

“I haven’t heard from medical yet, so we’ll see. But he looks good. He’s gotta get his timing (back), but overall, he moved pretty well… But it will take some time.”

On how Robinson’s return will affect the Knicks’ rotation:

“You have to anticipate that the game’s gonna be different so we’ll see where he is once he’s out there. He’ll need a little bit of time. But the things that he can bring, the hustle, the ability to see things early, play pick and roll, rim-protect, offensive rebound; those are things he’ll bring right off the bat.”

On adjusting to player availability throughout the season and finding positives on it:

“Whatever your circumstances are, you deal with them as best you can. We had guys out, so it was an opportunity for the new guys to get time together. So we tried to take advantage of it that way. Now that you have more depth, you take advantage of it the other way. You need everyone over the course of the season, so just get in there and get the job done.”

On OG Anunoby’s recovery:

“Yeah, I think the break was good for him. We’ll see how he responds tomorrow after practice today.”

On how and where he spent his All-Star break:

“It was perfect: Club Tarrytown. 72 [degrees] and sunny every day.”

Jalen Brunson
On the team’s chemistry and playoff push:

Read on Twitter

“It means a lot. Obviously after the break you want everyone to be ready to go. I’m excited to get down this stretch. I love this team a lot. I love everyone that’s a part of it and this organization. We all have one goal in mind and I’m really thankful.”

On Mitchell Robinson’s impact:

“Do you think he’s a difference-maker? Then, I think he’s a difference-maker.”

On Thibodeau spending his break at the Knicks’ training facility:

“I hope he knows he can be in the lab from home as well. This man has a very beautiful home office. Go stay there. And whatever I’ve told you guys, I’ve told him to his face.”

Karl-Anthony Towns
On Robinson’s return and its impact on the team:

Read on Twitter

“We’ve done a great job of sustaining what we need to do and being where we need to be right now at this point in the season. The next-man-up mentality of the guys in the locker room has been great.

“To be able to get people — Mitch and everyone — back, it gives us a chance to hone in on our team as a whole.”

On the possibility of playing alongside Robinson:

“I remember being in Minnesota with three bigs.

“It’s great to have [Robinson] back and to have the firepower we have. It gives us versatility. It allows us to play against teams that have a two-big lineup, or teams that go small. We can adjust however we need to.”

On Tom Thibodeau’s evolution as a coach:

“Hell no (Thibs wasn't so locked into coaching a few years ago). Time has treated us all differently.

"For Thibs, I feel like he’s at a point where he’s just having fun. He’s really having fun with this. I know that from being a player and a friend of his. Just enjoying the process of being a coach.”

On Thibodeau’s hard-working mindset handling the Knicks:

“I think it’s a testament to growth for him and time. And a testament to players in this locker room and the coaching staff he has around him that allow him to appreciate the little things even more — and life more.”

our 3 point defense gets exposed every time against teams that love shooting 3s.. no reason we should be winless against the bulls at this stage of the season
