Well, things just took a turn. Bobby Portis just got suspended for 25 games. Pistons got a real opportunity here.

Every. Game. Counts.

Ausar looks taller to me thanHolland. And better suited for backup PF as well

I can see this being reduced ... His agent says he had a "mix up" thinking it was Toradol, not Tramadol.
There's only 30 games left in the season, anyway, but wouldn't mind seeing the Bucks fall.

Yeah that don’t sound right suspending him over that

He assuredly already made that plea to the NBA during the investigation.

Anyway, no, it wasn't just a simple mistake. His assistant was giving him prescription pain killers. That's not how prescription drug legality works. There is no "sharing". The fact that he was taking prescription pain meds outside of the care of an NBA doctor is a pretty serious issue for the league. They need to keep a tight grip on what pain meds a player is on for pretty obvious reasons.

Think Spurs do CP3 a favor and buyout?

We still got both our games upcoming against them, which certainly got a little bit easier.

Crazy because he was a super heavy favorite to win DPOY but now with him not playing enough games to be eligible it'll be interesting to see who gets it. OKC playing the best defense as a team.

Yeah. Someone from OKC has to win it right? Dort? Most of the other candidates (JJJ, Dyson Daniels, etc) play on sub-par team defenses. Maybe it's Evan Mobley?

OKC has a lot of good defenders but not sure anyone sticks out as DPOY. Right now JJJ and Evan Mobley are pretty much dead even betting favorites and no one else is close so its likely going to be one of the two of them.

I would love for the Pistons to overtake the Bucks to play those Punk Pacers. It hasn't been a kind matchup for the Pistons in recent times but this series would not only be a must watch for this fanbase but also for NBA fans due to the bad blood between the teams and all the young talent on the floor. Probably wishful thinking on my part but I'd love to see it.

I like our chances a bit better now with Shröder off our bench.
Siakam is the guy that would kill us. Ausar, Holland too small for him and Tobias not good enough. Maybe we unleash our secret weapon Basketball Paul on him lol

So, it’s been like two million years since our last game and we still don’t play tonight. I hope the rest did our guys some good.

I hope at least one of our young guys makes a noticeable post all-star break jump.... could be Cade with improved %s and efficiency.... could be young Holland 2 hitting those threes... could be Ausar taking it up a notch, etc... I think we're one good young playing making a mid year leap away from the four seed.

The Spurs play tonight. So they'll be on a back-to-back while we're on 8 days rest. That's quite an advantage. Should win.

* Not to mention the fact that Wemby is done.

Tobias also has to guard Turner in that match up because Duren is terrible at guarding stretch bigs.

Not big on the Indy match up because we've shown we let them get under our skin and punk us.

Damn. After the all-star break teams play harder, but for FFS. Every team in the Pistons range won?

Yeah I found Tobias being abused by Siakam more offensive than Duren not being able to recover to the 3 point line due to helping protect the rim from blow bys. And what f'ing McConnell did (and ALWAYS does) to us was the most disgusting of all.
