Kings and Bucks in the offseason

Post#1 » by The Beam King » Fri Feb 21, 2025 4:15 pm

Just a simple swap of DeRozan for Kuzma. Not sure if picks need to move and which ones in which direction. But this kinda seems like such a Kangz move to do.

Bucks replace Middleton for half the cost to balance their roster. Kings do the same to add more frontcourt depth.

Bucks fans have posted on the Wizards board that Kuzma is playing good defense for them. If true, add that to his age and declining contract and I don't think they're going to move him for DeRozan.

I think we'll see the best version of Kuzma we've seen in years to finish this season.

Yeah I think he expunged his chucking for the Wizards.

Good luck with that. He's one of those players that is sure that the next shot, whatever it may be, will always go in. But if he's playing defense, moving the ball, and working hard without the ball, you can live with his chucking.

Yeah, I don't expect him to suddenly only start taking good shots, but I do expect him to defer to Giannis & Dame, while doing the other stuff.

Lavine and Kuzma in the same offense might make me take a couple years off of Kings basketball.

I havent caught all of his games but based on bucks board discussion he is bringing it, knows his place and is curing a lot of what ails us. The board seems to have flipped from WTF is Horst doing to, liking the move and fit.

I would be good with this but sadly if he looks right for the Bucks the odds are that they would t do this at least without pick payment from the Kings and I don’t think that’s a good idea for Kuzma. The potential issues that have been exposed are not worth the draft capital.

I’m not sold on Kuzma but DeRozan really does nothing for the Bucks.
