That is probably a factor. And although they don't really match up with each other I think he doesn't want to sit out against Khris. With a B2B, no Dame and Giannis probably limited to about 24 minutes this will not be easy.

its beyond ridiculous that literally every single game thread for months is about which of dame, giannis, and khris will even play. and now dame and giannis. like why even discuss the games besides that. and its gonna be just nonstop from here on out this year and for however long those two even have left. and thats before we even get to brook. this run is so close to done.

We have an old team and our superstar has missed the last 2 years of playoffs. Injuries and load management, especially down the stretch, are going to be a constant talking point. No way around it. At least we've eliminated the constant Middleton injury watch.

Giannis looked hobbled last night and that doesn't bode well for his playoff availability. It's the sort of injury that will linger.

Prince Akeem will get at least one transition dunk when 4/5 Bucks can't be arsed to cross the half-court line.

The thing that gives me comfort and kind of justifies the trade is how he reacts to the suggestion of playing 35mpg. Like, we were absolutely going to need that from in in the POs, and he makes it sound like it's out of the question. Still miss him and don't think we did the right thing, but that definitely softens it.
