Western Conference Threats

Post#1 » by SD2042 » Fri Feb 21, 2025 5:02 pm

It's been two weeks since the trade deadline dust has settle down. Most of the WC teams were very active reshaping their roster including the Grizzlies. We know the Western Conference as a majority is a fierce conference of the two. No easy wins. Only dogfight wins. Based on the moves of other teams, who do you deem a threat the Grizzlies will have some serious challenges to deal with come playoff time?

At this point, I don't have alot of faith that we can beat any team above .500 4 times out of 7. I hope I'm wrong, but I think our offense is a gimmick that doesn't get Ws against decent-to-good defensive teams, and it won't be particularly effective in the playoffs where pace slows and possessions are more valuable.

Again, I hope that I'm wrong, but to answer SD's question, I'd have to say pretty much all of the western conference are a threat to us in the playoffs.

Debbie Downer, out.
