Get him some pick & roll chemistry with Dame and I bet he'll even become a semi-useful offensive player.

Yup. Hate to overreact to a single game, but if Sims is consistently the guy he was last night for the next 25 games, Bobby's role upon return shouldn't be much more than lead bench cheerleader/situational instant offense. And this is coming from someone who still absolutely loves Bobby, the player and person.

I like what KPJ brings off the bench and he is just a better player than Rollins at this stage of their careers, he is a nice scoring spark when Dame sits.

Sims is big, moves his feet pretty well and defensively is going to be a much better option than Bobby at C. Can tell he's a bit of a spaz and will be limited offensively, but should be good for some lobs when people get used to playing with him.

Knowing what he know now about Bobby's suspension and Khris' obvious lack of value at the deadline, a few people (me included) might owe Horsty an apology. It's early still, but not as awful a deadline as it appeared.

Exactly where I'm at to.

Yes and no.

Did we ever truly try Khris, Giannis and Dame healthy together in the playoffs? No.

But ever since Khris went down against the Bulls in April of 2022, he's been completely unreliable due to injury. Knee, wrists, ankles. I think the doing the same thing over and over with Khris and his playing status is what is applicable. Team got tired of it.

Then the second issue was the money. They couldn't take the 2nd apron hit this year and have $34mm in what might be dead money next year if he gets injured again.

And given the early returns on Kuzma, I think we're stronger team. The only outlier I'd have some concern on is AJ Johnson. He may or may not be a player. Unique skillset but a long ways away.

kind of embarrassed at how good that video makes me feel. although it's less a euphoric feeling and more of a sense of relief that i can feel seeping into the weary joints of my Bucks soul.

Yeah, I agree and also the reality that his fraction of regular season games he treated like a walk through or his preseason.. that had a few negative effects: overburdened the other 2 in order to even keep a decent seed and never developing a 3 man cohesion .. by the time KM was finally ready, the other 2 needed recovery..
