FSN

Too bad about Wemby. Maybe he was just afraid to play Detroit (jk). Hope he gets better soon.

Can someone translate the video below please?

We're coming off 8-days rest. Spurs are on a back-to-back (beat Phx last night).

Should def get a W with that advantage. Need to be sharp out of the gate.

Young team, leader coming off an all-star high? Yeah, this one is ripe for disappointment.

The headlines write themselves.

Makes sense, but this team is wierd. Both our Road record and our ability to hold a lead in the 4th Q are sort of unusual as well. This team performs well at times when you'd expect them to struggle.

I dunno who we attribute that too, but this team is pretty friggin' chill. Part of that is our vets. Probably some JB. I still think Beasley is an ice cold killer. He loves that stuff.

Maybe it's that "us against the world" mentality? I dunno. But I expect us to be ready to play. This is a W.

Looks like a bunch of folks around the league, still don't know what makes this Pistons team click. Check out this scouting report;

"What to watch for:

Dictating the pace

The Spurs found success against the Suns when they got out and ran. They are a smaller team without Wembanyama on the floor, even with Bismack Biyombo. Detroit is 13th in the NBA in pace. They have several high-level athletes, but they are at their best when Cunningham is working the pick-and-roll in the half-court. San Antonio should look to push the pace offensively by pressuring the Pistons defensively so they can force turnovers and create fast break opportunities."

Uhhhh...yeah. Lets all hope the Spurs coaching staff is as ill-informed as this writer is.

Vegas agrees with your conclusions. Pistons are favorites going into tonight.

Strange new world out there...

This is one of those games the Pistons have to win if they're to be taken seriously. Road games are tough, coming off of a long break is tough but Spurs on the second half of a back to back, no Wemby. This is a game you need to win if you're serious about the playoffs not just a play-in.

really looking forward to this game. ausar as the point of attack defender against fox, watching stephon castle, wanted him pre-draft but he was picked right before us.

hopefully the guys can keep their momentum through the break, the spurs aren't exactly pushovers.

I presume victory in every contest until proven otherwise after 48 minutes of conflict.
Pretty sure Cade and Auser feel the same and have the chariot armored and arrows in slings, bring it on!

Excellent start. Pistons are an amazing fast break team, and only continue to get better at it.

on that one ausar turnover i saw the whole time he was going to outrun the defender in a 3 on 2 but kept thinking don't do it, don't it. running a fastbreak like that almost never works.

otherwise yeah our fast breaks are great.

When Schroder is on the floor, the Pistons are going to have to do a better job of switching, so he doesn't end up guarding a guy that outweighs him by 100lbs lol.
