What do you think is more helpful for the rookies?
1) Playing NBA level teams that are bad (what our upcoming schuelde is projected to look like).
Or
2) playing G-leauge playoff games (assuming we make it), with an intense home crowd. Maybe a tougher effort from the opponent.
They could set up the Finals (if we make it) at Scotiabank, make a really big event out of it.
Get a Buzz going for G-league basketball.
Build the young guys confidence, with an intense environment.

Bad opponents still have players way more talented than what's in the G-League and they also get to learn more of the schematics etc of the real game and/or can build chemistry with the other players on the roster.
The G-League is best if they're struggling with confidence to build it back up or again or to get time when we're actually competitive and don't have the time to develop them. But obv that's not the case now so it's best they play in real games and learn.

G league isnt really team basketball so it has very little benefit other than just getting reps. A, the opponents are way worse. B. there is no structure its just hero ball.

G-League allows them to play a role that they are learning.
The reason we don't, because we can't have most of them in the g-league without a proper bench.

A good player will find a way to become a good player regardless of getting reps in the G League or in the nba. Like I'm sure there are extreme examples but on the average, if a player isn't mentally strong enough to keep fighting to improve then they were never that good to begin with.
