Sixers sign Alex Reese to a two-way contract

Post#1 » by sixers hoops » Fri Feb 21, 2025 1:39 am

Read on Twitter

Don’t know him. Read he is 6’9 and shoots the three at high volume and high percentage.

Was previously with OKC which could indicate he is a talent who was squeezed out by a deep roster. However, I don’t know who he is.

How many two way players are they going to sign? Feels like they announced 6 different guys already.

Chema and Roddy were 10 day contracts. Butler and Edwards were two-way converted to regular contracts. I think we only have Reese and Dowtin.

Pretty decents traits guy.

3&D with rebounding. Nice option to log minutes at PF.

Morey made a mistake—he meant to sign Angel Reese but mistyped it as Alex Reese.

Maybe in preparation for a scenario where Oubre walks. Yabu starts with Reese or Roddy as back-up PF?

I don't know Dowtin survives the 2-way 10 day merry-go-round for years and years.

Isn't that basically what Bona is (a little shorter than 7' though)?
